I was listening to WTVN 610 AM (Columbus, OH) this evening. They were interviewing Kenneth Timmerman about his book Shakedown. He apologized for delaying the start of his interveiw as he had to talk to his editor at Insight Magazine about meeting his deadline for this story to break on Friday morning (4/19/02). He commented that the story will present evidence that the Clinton Administration and the FBI covered-up information linking Timothy McVey and Middle Eastern Terrorists. Timmerman stated that Clinton wanted to pin all of the blame on Right-Wing Extremists.

Additionally, keep in mind that Newt Gingrich took over the Speakership of the House in Jan 1995 with Contract with America. They promised to pass all 10 provisions within 100 days and they did it! They were rocking and rolling and Clintonism was in a shambles. Then OKC happened. 04-19-95 was just after the 100 days. It completely turned America against the rightwing. Newt never regained his stride after that.

No doubt, OKC was the PR miracle Hill-Bill's needed to save their political lives, they were going down.

There was nothing on CNN, MSNBC, Fox, or C-Span between 11 a.m. and 11:30 about any victims/lawsuit news conference in OKC, although they all did the memorial story. Time to start freeping, especially Gibson at Fox.

FYI, for those of you who are interested, Ashcroft is, of all places, in Pittsburgh today for a terrorism conference with Asa Hutchinson. Heard on the radio this morning he is supposed to make a "major announcement" at 1:20 p.m. eastern.

This reportedly has to do with the arrest of some drug suspects,but who knows? After all, it is April 19. And Defenbaugh did split this week. And Ashcroft doesn't usually doesn't do "major announcements" about arrests. Maybe CNN will carry it.
