As far as Arafat being the big part of the problem your point is notworthy. I can agree with that. To say that Sharon is the same lets say that he is for the sake of Argument.

Sharon is prime minister because of Arafat. Sharon wouldn't have stood a chance of winning any election if Arafat hadn't rejected peace and turned to violence in order to become more populare among the palestinians.

What it comes down to is that the Palestinians are the problem. They don't want peace.

I heard an interesting quote from Arafat at the time. He said that he would "rather be killed by the Jews than by his own people". He was affraid the his people would kill him if he made peace with Isreal. The Palestinians kill leaders that they don't like. They don't vote them out of office. The Palestinians kill Palestinian reporters that publish things that they don't want to hear. They don't just stop buying their papers. They insist on threat of death that they be lied too.

Obviously they don't want peace. They cannot govern themselves. They must be governed.

If they ever did suceed in killing the Jews and gaining Palestine they would imediately be subjegated by another Arab state.

The Palestinians are infinitely better off under Isreali occutation. At least under Isreali occupation they somtimes have the semblence of civil rights. In fact , many Palestinians have Isreali citizenship. Under any other Arab state (including one of their own making ) they would be brutally repressed and have virtually no rights.

No, the count the Israelis use is false. Many hundreds of people were removed alive by trucks and "disappeared." The number, if these are included, is over 2000.

All you are doing, ALL that you are doing, is peddling Palestinian charges that are not true. Look at the photographic evidence of the overhead shots of Jenin. Where is the massive destruction that you and the other Sturmabteilungen wailed about? What happened? Poor Robert Fisk got his story wrong from the getgo? Where is the proof that those crafty Yidlock carted away 2000 people? Where did they "disappear" to? Where are the "mass graves"?

There are none, and you know it. The fact is, it was a tough battle in which the IDF troops had to fight house to house against an entrenched enemy who was able to use the terrain to his advantage. By and large, the members of the IDF conducted themselves honorably and well. The Palestinians gave a pretty good account of themselves as well. But these stories about a massacre were lies from the beginning.

And the thing is, you probably know, deep down, that they are lies. But that won't stop you from peddling them anyway.

As I wrote above, you can't escape your own lies and half-truths. You may want to ignore me, but that is no substitute for a coherent argument backed up by facts. Which you don't have. At all. And never did. You can't just post regurgitated Pallie agitprop as if it is Gospel.

Although I must say that you probably have an excuse to ignore me. I mean, you and your friends have to devote so much time to solving the "Zionist Question", among other things.....

Just for your information, there is no similarity whatsoever between Ireland and the West Bank. There is no "Palestinian" culture, language or religion to destroy. The people in the West Bank are Arabs and mostly Muslim and the Israelis do not suppress Arab culture, the Arabic language or the Muslim religion.

The concept of a "Palestinian" Arab nation was invented by Yasser Arafat in 1964. It had never existed before, unlike Ireland. It is interesting that the "Palestinians" call themselves by a Latin name (Palestine), derived from Hebrew (Peleshet). There is no Arab name they can call themselves because no such Arab nation ever existed. There has never been an Arab state with its capital in Jersualem.

There is no difference in culture, religion, language or ethnicity between a "Palestinian" and a Jordanian. The only difference is to whom they swear allegance.
