President's Earth Day speech delayed due to weather
Posted on 04/22/2002 9:17:41 AM PDT by rs79bm
President Bush's Earth Day speech in the Adirondacks has officially been delayed due to a heavy snow storm moving through the Adirondacks. The event was supposed to take place outside, but they have since moved the event inside to the Base Lodge at Whiteface Mountain Ski Center. This will probably be carried on a tape delay sometime later in the afternoon.

What happened to Global Warming and the Global Warming Drought?!
This is Lenin's Birthday/Earth Day, the 22 of April, with Global Warming there should be zero snow storms!

Maybe he can hold the ceremony in an RV, and have a Texas-style Bar-B-Q for the reporters afterwards. Wouldn't that chap the Greenies' hides?

Are you two clones? No, apparently just another couple of in-bred right wingers...

The question on my mind is why is President Bush having anything to do with this Gaiea-worship, green commie, enviro-whacko observance in the first place!? Oh, yeah, politics. That's right. Appease the idiots and commies. Kind of like his pro-Palestine policies. Blechh! Someone, please remind me why I voted for this rodeo clown...

Global Warming Update:
The roads in Fairbanks, Alaska are completely iced over due to 4" of fresh snow combined with unusually warm temperatures [30 degrees.]

Earth day is a joke. Why do we need to hear from nuttballs who only a few years ago, predicted a coming ice age? Now they want us to believe we are going to boil for the same reasons: Man's influence over this world.

I agree to a certain point. Apparently, the Adirondack Mountains have a problem with acid rain so he is pushing for legislation that would help with this.

On behalf of damn good hard working quick thinking kind honest ethical rodeo clowns, may I object to your careless use of your comparisons?
Actually, most of what were called rodeo clowns are now called rodeo bull-fighters (which George W. ain't) but still.....
Perhaps the last true rodeo clown was a politician introduced by the rodeo annoncer.

Oh yeah, I'll bet you voted for Bush right after you saw Gore's name on the ballot and then you got this sickening either/or revulsion, so you voted for Bush in an attempt not to puke?
That just about described my vote.

Yes, they were- all those press people looked COLD! He- he he! We were there at Adirondack Regional Airport when he arrived. Didn't get to see much but we had our signs of support with us. It was really snowing hard too. Hope President Bush dressed warmly.
