Time Spent per Month 11: 51: 11

Wow, it went up by three whole hours just between February and March!

Of course, these stats need to be run through the Reality Filter. It may only be "11 hours per month" on average, but that's because thousands of people log in, look around for two minutes a day and leave. That really skews the huge numbers of hardcore nuts like us that really DO spend hours per DAY on here.

Timesink, thanks for the fascinating post.

Jim, Congrats. And, I know you are not interested in the following at this time, but, just a friendly reminder -- it is precisely this "stickiness" statistic which makes advertisers foam at the mouth. In their view, your site has just been ranked the #1 most de$irable place to advertise on the web. Just a thought to file away...

If any thread is "Breaking News," this one is. No Matter. This Puppy is going to get a lot of play anyway.

Thanks for posting.

I know one thing, whether the stats are per visit, day, week or month, I do my part to keep the numbers up.

"Wow, it went up by three whole hours just between February and March!"

That is for overall net use, NOT just Free Republic.

JR, Congratulations! I have been having the best time rummaging around in this intellectual jungle gymn you've provided us, and I hope this takes some of the sting out of all the grumbles about the new format!

Many Thanks,

Sleaveless

Then I'm carring a whole lotta weight for the rest of you freepers.
