Hmmmmmmmm...........here's one, to be added to FReeper Lore: What the heck was the name of the mysterious, highly placed Poster that was predicting that Clintigula was going to find some excuse (and maybe even might create the situation himself) so as to declare a national emergency and keep himself in power?

The articles were gripping and the same time wanted me to go and grab my tin hat...........kind of like rubbernecking when you know you shouldn't. LOL.

No "moose" or "cheese" definitions?!

A glaring oversight!

Cheese thread - originated as a common reply to a complaint thread -- "would you like some cheese with that whine?" That morphed into posting pictures of cheese, or just statements like "I like cheese." Moose was added later, an anachronistic reference to a line from the closing credits of Monty Python and the Holy Grail: "a moose once bit my sister."

Mind you, moose bites can be pretty nasty . . .

I seem to remember what you're referring to, but I'm drawing a blank. A former Clinton Arkansas associate turned author or speaker regularly predicted the same, but his name escapes me right now as well.

Didn't AlamoGirl keep whole Threads going, discussing 'His' prognostications?

All your base are belong to us!

I thought about adding that, but figured it had run its course. But, since it does still turn up from time to time . . .

All your base -- a reference to the opening sequence of a somewhat obscure SuperNintendo video game called "Zero Wing." The titles were poorly (and therefore accidently hilariously) translated. An internet fad developed on college campuses -- taking photographs and "Photoshopping" them to add lines from the Zero Wing text. The fad was picked up on FreeRepublic for a time. Several websites are still up that can get you up to speed on "All Your Base", including allyourbase.net

One suggestion:

RINO - Republican In Name Only, A liberal or moderate Republican.
should be:

RINO - Republican In Name Only, A liberal [a.k.a. "moderate"] Republican.
