This morning, Jim Quinn, host of "The War Room" (WRRK 96.9 FM Pittsburgh & warroom.com) played an audio tape made at Cleveland Center (flight control) on the morning of 9-11. To protect his source, Quinn would not say who gave it to him, but it apparently is genuine.
The tape starts with Cleveland Center attempting to reach the crew of Flight 93, as they were in Cleveland's zone at the time. Heard is Cleveland speaking to other pilots who state they had overheard "yelling" and "screaming" over the airwaves. Other pilots visually help verify Flight 93's position because the hijackers have not responded to Cleveland.
Then, a hijacker, speaking very rapidly, tells Cleveland that there is a bomb on board. Pilots in the air confirm that they heard the statement about the bomb, and that Flight 93 had turned and headed back east. The hijacker comes back on the air and again repeats that there is a bomb on the plane.
Quinn is the man; first hearing.
The controller and pilots are incredible: professional in the face of this.
The song I'd heard a week or three ago and flushed out months of dust from these eyes.
Now emailing White House again re too much butt-sniffing, not enough butt-kicking.
Rosie, keep riveting those BLU-118's.
May I ask where you found that? I wouldn't mind listening to it myself....
I just got a copy of the MP3 of the 9/11 Howard Stern show. In retrospect, its amazing how much false information was making the rounds that day.Audiogalaxy. It's a 50 meg file of the whole show. If you search for Howard Stern you'll find it early on the list. It's simply called "9-11-01.May I ask where you found that? I wouldn't mind listening to it myself....
Audiogalaxy's probably the best of the MP3 sharing services, but definitely run Ad-aware after installing it.

It was the transmission. If you recall, the Air Traffic Controller even
had another pilot confirm what the Terrorist said..........
