Where: Across the street from the George R. Brown Convention Center
1001 Convention Center Blvd. (near the intersection of Lamar Blvd.Activists from a wide range of groups on the left from various places in Texas will be gathering across the street from the main entrance close to the intersection of Convention Center Boulevard and Lamar. The event is being sponsored by the Houston International Socialist Organization, the Progressive Worker's Organizing Committee, and the Houston Chapter of ANSWER.
The rally will include a wide variety of chants, flyering, and banners, focusing on such topics as the current war in Afghanistan as well as the mass deployment of troops throughout the Middle East and globe, Bush Sr.'s 1991 Gulf War, in which over a million civilians were killed and the subsequent sanctions that have genocidally slaughtered even more, the oppression of the Palestinian people, as well as various operations, such as Operation Condor and Iran/ Contra, which Bush personally oversaw and whose 'blowback' is far reaching.
Please come out and voice dissent with the many others this Saturday, and, let Daddy Bush know we haven't forgotten him and educate the public to expose him as the blood-thirsty war mongering imperialist he is!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring LOTS OF NOISEMAKERS, SIGNS, COSTUMES and whatever other props you can muster.....PASS THIS ALONG TO ANY AND ALL, WE NEED A BIG TURNOUT!!!!

Bush addresses University of St. Thomas graduates and their guests at commencement ceremonies and receives an honorary doctorate from UST.It is critical that WE not left these Socialists present this message unopposed! We need you, your neighbors, your friends and family to come with us and beat back these far left radicals that want to destroy our way of life. Let's try to out number them 10 to 1!
