Reap that which thou soweth

There are many people who will swear up and down that "Reap that which thou soweth" is in the bible, it is not! But, as we all know, we do, oft times reap that which we sow. And a perfect example of this is the entertainment industry. For years the movies, televison, music and other forms of entertainment have done everything in their power to destroy the moral compass of this nation and the world as a whole. They have worked hard to convince the youth of the world that there are not rights and wrongs, that there is no God, that we were not created in God's image, but instead evolved from pond scum and monkey dung. And now they are reaping the fruit of their labors.

Now that they have destroyed, to a great extent, the honesty and integrity of this nation and earth, they are reaping that which they have sown. They are reaping the just rewards of their lies, thieveries and deceit. As some of you may know, new multi million dollar movies, like the new Star Wars movie, clones or something, are being bootlegged, put on the internet and downloaded by millions who will never buy a ticket, rent a video or buy the video because they have a stolen copy free.

And the entertainment industry is upset. They are complaining because people are stealing their product. They are beside themselves because music is being copied, videos are bing copied, books, art and all other forms of art and entertainment are being stolen. Stolen by those same folks that the entertainment industry worked so hard to convince that they were not subject to the laws, that there is nothing wrong, that you can do anything you want. That there is no heaven or hell to fear, no God of judgement.

So, while you and I who are saved, reap that which we do not deserve, salvation. The entertainment industry is reaping their just rewards by having those that they have taught to have no regard for the belongings of others having their own products stolen and handed out free over the internet.

For while they reap the results of the sewerage that they sowed, we, the Born Again washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, reap that which the lord has sowed.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. (John 4:37) For you see, what Jesus sowed with His precious Blood, we who He calls and answers, reap the crop He planted, Salvation. For as the entertainment and political industries of this earth reap the corruption, lies and deceit that they sowed with their lies and moral degeneracy, we reap the Salvation and holiness that the Lord sowed with His Blood.

Praise the living and Holy God, Messiah Yeshua.

Amen.

Yeshua, please bless America.

Guess you're using a different Bible than mine, Pal.

Galations 6:7

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

I was wondering if anyone would quote that verse. Excellent article except for the mis-stated fact about that verse. It does bring up the fact that society is grown to be less moral and now the people who helped us get there are screaming about it...

Heh heh, good point. I guess the new Hollywood morality could be summed by a passage an old Guns 'N' Roses song:

You can take anything you want, but you better not take it from me! ... Welcome to the Jungle!

Lexington, Kentucky. Humm, do you know that Lexington is about five time the size of Portland Maine, but only has about 50% more cops.

Now think about that for a moment, Lexington has five times a many people, but only needs 50% more cops.

Do you know why? Now, I'm not kidding, I'm serious. Do you have any idea why it is that Lexington needs so many fewer police to uphold the law than is needed in Portland, Maine?

Hosea 8:7 "For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind".

Wow, you've done your homework. Now, tell me why we need so proportionately fewer cops.

As you drive around Lexington, you find a city that repects the Lord and for the most part is closed on Sundays, Portland on the other hand treats Sunday like any other day.

The biggest differance is that Lexington Kentucky is still, for the most part, a moral city, Portland is a city that celebrates and rewards things liek homosexuality with laws, special insurane benifits, etc.

Yes there are many verses that imply it, but few that say it exactly. But thanks and God bless.

What you say is true; most of the shops in town are closed on Sunday (except the soulless big chain stores like Wal-Mart) and for the most part people here have their heads on straight. We went for Bush in the 2000 election by a comfortable margin. There may be a shift here, though. The homosexual community here keeps getting stronger, and there is an initiative to extend health insurance benefits to homosexual partners of city employees. I hope our city passes this test of character.

Perhaps it is time for a letter to the editor from a Mainer who can document the probems that come along with giving same sex coverage insurance to homosexuals. When Portland did it a couple of years ago, it had such a drastic increase in premiums, that the following year, the pay raise teachers recieved did not cover the increase in insurance premiums.

I'll bet! Health risks for homos are significantly increased. Thanks again, guys, for picking our pockets to support your lifestyle under the guise of "equal rights." Clymers.
