Sentry Safes Scroll down to Model 3910. I paid $265 + tax.
My Gold membership at the range (indoor) allows me to shoot for free and bring one guest for $4/hr. I can bring my own ammo & targets or buy theirs. A silver membership is one notch down and you have to buy their ammo & targets and pay $10/hr per session. I already have a membership at the outdoor range, but it is 25 miles away. This is intown. Its only 25 yds and for handguns or some small caliber rifles.

.17 centerfire. Ah ok. I saw an "actual size" pic on the cover of American Rifleman, man that thing was tiny. I'm curios as to how they act, ever shoot one?

No. Don't know anyone who has. Just seen the
Never been bit by a snake either. Think the .17 is worse.
I wish them the best of luck, but I admit, I don't understand the market vs .22 mag or even .22 lr.
Long range squirrel? Stew only, at best. Coyote?

I love these matches. I spent all weekend on a firing line of some sort. The 200 yard High Power match was fun because no one could see the .223 holes because of the mirage. I did witness a guy, who used to call our matches for years, shoot a perfect score on the rapid prone.
I heard a story about one person who shot a perfect stage and the scorer never gave him his target. He just stapled the next target on top and then didn't tell him his score until the first target was ruined.

Congratulations on the safe. The days of keeping our stuff on the walls and in the closets are over. Except for one or two that we need for the bumps in the night. LOL

Bang!
[If there ever was a thread that belongs on the bang list this is it.]

Har! That Hanoi Jane target is great! Got a mailing adress for the harpy so's I can mail it to her after it's been "on the range" a while? $;-)
Thanks for the ping. I don't have any idea how this "postal match" thing works -- I've never done anything like it before. Most of my shooting has been against targets that break, although lately I've gotten into paper-punching. Shot four 100-yard groups with my new Savage FP 10 .308 a couple of weekends ago that averaged 3/4", although I'm still going to replace the trigger on that thing -- the factory unit is smooth and breaks clean, but it must have a ten-pound pull! What genius thought of that?

Powder..Patch..Ball FIRE!
Can't wait for that one!

Most of my shooting has been against targets that breakMe too, Joe.
Maybe, there will be a shotgun contest.
We could send in a box of broken clays....lol

I was referring to objects more like water-filled plastic jugs, old TV sets, garbage disposals, microwaves, VCRS and other misc. kitchen appliances and home electronics, etc., etc. You get the picture!

Pinging a few people that missed out on the first go-round.

Thanks for the invite... and keep me on the list for these, but I am a pistol shooter, not a rifle shooter.
Would love to join the next pistol match!

I am fortunate enough to run a fabrication shop. I made a sturdy lockable cabinet and lagged it in an out of the way location.
Between having two kids, and the sheer dollar value of my stuff, it would be insane not to.
I am still looking for a fast access - lockable pistol box. I want to keep a pistol handy, but no amount of hiding will prevent a kid from finding something.

It also makes a mess of gophers and woodchucks. Along with the .218 bee, they are both fantastic for varmit poppin'. Low grain weight boattail hollow points will basically explode when they hit a blade of grass so there is less worry with bullet skip.
