demonstrators numbered in the tens of thousands and ranged from globalization activists to youths who carried posters demanding a halt to "Bush's global war." It's an ugly job, but will someone step up and explain to these yahoos the difference between a defensive stance in war and an offensive one? Their memories are about 52 years too short ...

Who would have believed that the Russians are more helpful to our national interest, with a better economic structure than our old buds, the Europeans?

That should be a six: 62 years. Not to mention the disgusting way the Germans conducted themselves in the FIRST world war.

I would love to see Bush strike an oil deal with the Putin. It will benefit both nations and take away our dependence on Arab Oil. An oil deal and an arms reduction treaty all in one weekend would be sweet. Then on Monday give a Reagan like speech at Normandy and come home. I can dream can't I?
I hear Dubya is going to a costume party with Putin!, George W. Bush said he was going to slap some egg on his face and go as Tom Daschle :-)

Who would have believed that the Russians are more helpful to our national interest, with a better economic structure than our old buds, the Europeans? This is just the beginning. The Russians are at the start of something great. The Europeans are just, well, you know, declining.

"It is important that Russia be viewed as a friend, not as an enemy," Mr. Bush As if this feminized feel good barking will change reality. Man to man, every man knows he is the enemy of man, this is the stuff of manly confidence and respect of jurisdictions. Barbara Bush did not do a good job of raising men, apparently.

"See, and I've been proven right. I do trust him."Me too, Mr. President.
