"Absolutely. This is Waaaayyy too convenient methinks. How come this 'predator' was never mentioned as a suspect previously? Condit would have trumpeted this from the rooftops. I Think it smells."

It stinks! Chandra did not like jogging, I heard it reported. She was in the park to meet Condidit.

I heard conflicting stories about that. One guy was telling Fox that she didn't like to jog but Fox reported that many of her friends said that she did like to jog.

For some reason the statement by that one guy is the one everyone accepts and has been most widely reported.

???

Sorry, should have had my </sarcasm tag on. I find it hard to believe anybody could actually BE that unlucky - it's the statistical equivalent of winning the Irish Sweepstakes -- twice. It could happen, but it was probably rigged! (And you're all right, even if he is innocent of murder, he certainly isn't innocent in any other sense of the word.)

And as Susan Estrich (BLECHH!) pointed out, Chandra would not have paged Condit over and over and over again that day and then left her apartment without her cell phone. And certainly not for an 8 mile run. She wouldn't have risked missing his call. The only plausible reason for her leaving her apartment without taking her phone with her is that she was planning on seeing him.
