Man Files Lawsuit Against Bush For 9/11 Intelligence Failures

Fri May 24 2002 10:52:08 ET

A man is ready to sue President Bush for failing to prevent the 9-11 attacks!

San Francisco area attorney Stanley Hilton this week filed a $7 billion lawsuit on behalf of a handful of attack victims' relatives claiming that America's leader failed to carry out his constitutional duties.

MORE

Hilton also named top members of the Administration for failing to carry out their duties to protect the United States.

The suit claims the President 'allowed' September 11th to happen.

The attorney says he is representing several people who lost loved ones on September 11th however, they wish to remain 'anonymous.'

UPDATE

Hilton is also the author of "Senator for Sale: An Unauthorized Biography of Senator Bob Dole" and "Glass Houses : Shocking Profiles of Congressional Sex Scandals and Other Unofficial Misconduct," a book that investigated the details of Republican sex lives, and came out in December, 1998 at the height of the Clinton impeachment trial.

When asked whether he was fearful of getting sued by congressmen for his Republican sex expose, Hilton stated, "Truth is a defense. Besides, I'm a litigator."

In 1995 Hilton was hit with legal problems himself when he was charged with abusing his 80-year old Alzheimer's-impaired mother. She was found padlocked in her Noe Valley house with two dogs and no toilet access.

A firefighter described the scene as "an overwhelming stench of urine and feces all over the house."

Oh yeah, he's a real beacon of integrity!

I'll bet dollars to donuts that lawyer is a Democrat Party operative, just like the so-snd-so in Maine who released the DWI story about W at a coordinated, predetermined time right before the election. This is meant to keep the scurrilous accusation that "Bush knew and did nothing" in the press, for the benefit of the feeble minded base of the Democrat party. Last night on Hannity and Coombs Geraldine Ferraro and Alan Coombs were in high gear CYA mode, clearly reacting to Cheney's forthright denunciation of their leaders and their underhanded, cynical political gambit. We must make these weasels suffer more reverses, so we should all continue to scream "Democrat Conspiracy" to illuminate their treasonous plan to divide the country during war time. The Democrat leadership deserves the appelation of "traitor" for this blatant attempt to undemine the war effort.

Stanley is an attorney who has practiced law for 23 years and now runs his own law firm in San Francisco. A graduate of Duke Law School, he was a classmate to independent prosecutor Kenneth Starr. In 1979 and 1980, he worked as a Senate aide/counsel to Senator Robert Dole in Washington, D.C. A member of the California State Bar since 1975, Hilton practices law in San Francisco.

Publisher Takes Aim at Clinton's Judge and Jury
By ANDREA SACHS/NEW YORK

St. Martin's Press is determined to show the veracity of the old chestnut about why people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The publisher is rushing out 500,000 copies of an "instant" paperback book, Glass Houses: Shocking Profiles of Congressional Sex Scandals and Other Unofficial Misconduct by attorney Stanley Hilton and psychologist Anne-Renee Testa, due in stores by Election Day. The book's mission: to expose the hidden lives of some of those who will be judging President CLINTON. The book will review the ethical problems of more than 50 Senators and Congressional Representatives.

Glass Houses grew out of a three-year investigation by Hilton, who used to work on Bob Dole's Senate staff. (Kenneth Starr was two years ahead of him at Duke Law School.) Hilton interviewed 150 Congressional staffers and 35 lobbyists. Why does he think Congressmen point fingers when they have secrets of their own? "It's a form of grandiosity," says Hilton. "They tend to think they'll never get caught." Is he worried that an angry Congressman might sue him after the book comes out? Nah: "Truth is a defense." Besides, he adds, "I'm a litigator."

Since the information about Al Qaeda was known to Congress for years, perhaps we could sue them for failing to act responsibly on issues like, immigration, energy independence, and airplane safety.

...The suit claims the President 'allowed' September 11th to happen... What a jackass. I don't know what else to say. Not even Clinton would have "allowed" 3000 Americans to be ruthlessly murdered. Aggie

Maybe...maybe not....Hillary certainly would have, in a NY minute if she could have found a way to benefit from it. And Clinton huimself lamented that it didnt happen during his watch.
