The events of the past several months have shown that his domestic crackdown against the militants will never be enough for India, or possibly even for the US. Yet, at some point, it will become simply too much for the religious parties to countenance.Informative article. Pakistan is an interesting place that I hope never to visit.

Interesting. I sympathize with the Tibetans concerning the Chinese dumping of ethnic Chinese into Tibet to "dilute" the Tibetan culture. On the other hand, I sympathize with the Chinese government in trying to prevent an Islamic uprising within their borders. Who wants to see their country broken apart? Wherever there is a Muslim population, unrest breaks out against the ruling non-Muslim government.

Thanks for the post, I learned a lot, but mainly that China has little to gain from an alliance with Pakistan.
