The 9-11 hit didn't work, eh? I guess they'll have to trot our social security and try to scare grandma again.
To: eFudd
Zogby's low rating was an answer to a question on how he was handling the mideast crisis...

How likely will these numbers translate into republican senate/rep/gov votes? How long are Bush's coattails?

I agree, polls mean zip. Coattails are everything. If President Bush gets a Republican majority in both houses, and quickly heads back to his conservative roots, then Carl Rowe is the greatest political stratigest of the 20th century. But if he continues his big government globalist/socialist agenda, or the Democrats increase their majority in the Senate and make gains in the House, Carl Rowe has got to go for making Bush a Goron.

The 9-11 hit didn't work, eh? I guess they'll have to trot our social security and try to scare grandma again. The Lying, Stinking DemocRATs have already been trying to "scare grandma" again. Check out:
Fusillade in Social Security War
Lying, Stinking Senator Corzine is the point man in the Senate. Thank you, New Jersey.
The problem is, the Stupid Republicans are running away from the issue of partial privatization. The GUTLESS CREEPS.

Hey, not so hard on Senator Corzine. He bought his Senate seat with cash on the barrelhead, it's his to do with as he pleases!
BTW, I agree with you that partial privitization is the way to go. Looks like the public is swinging behind the idea too, from some polls I've seen. Maybe that will stiffen the spines of some of those beltway politicos.
To: jackbill
I must say that was an enjoyable article. The counterpoints by the liberal think tank to Corzine's lies were excellent. :-)

In any event, isn't it sad that no Republicans will make the arguments that Mr. Biggs makes? They are either Gutless or Stupid - or both.

My mistake. I'm not familiar with the think tank, and thought the article referenced a liberal philosophy. Concerning Pubbies making those arguments, I hear them make them quite often. But, as usual, those counterpoints are buried on Page 24A, beneath the tire advertisements.

here's the real question. Why don't any of the major media trumpet these numbers THREE times a DAY like they did when Clintoon had positive poll numbers?

It's very hot in Phoenix. Yesterday close to 110 degrees, today's supposed to be 109. When the weather's hot like this, often the overnight LOW temperature is as high as 90 degrees or more. Arg.......

I am very familiar with Phoenix. My mothers family is from Scottsdale. My grandparents lived out in the boonies, Scottsdale road and McDowell! They were surrounded by farms. We used to walk to the Tastee Freez (long, long gone) on Scottsdale road. It used to actually cool off in the summer when the sun went down. This was in the early 60's.

It's sweet when the spread represents a MAJORITY of those surveyed.

These are all numbers from the DNC owned and operated left-wing propaganda shops. Especially CBS, the original "Little Shop of Propaganda". Add 5% to the "approve" numbers.
