I'll be sending a letter of my own in response to this dolt.

Ever notice how those who "feel" things should be a certain way cannot string together a coherent thought?

there were 281,421,906 people in the United States, Close the boarders, liberal. Deport the illegals.
That way, you won't have to painfully tear the pre-born apart to get it out of your foul uteruses. Ok? Fair enough?
There, see? Babies live. Problem solved.

So do we really need more people?
Notice how the Salon Bolsheviki are more than willing to allow other people to pay the price of their convictions. Somehow I don't think this deluded letter writer will volunteer to relinquish her own life so that some fish will live. (And to think they call themselves 'humanists'!)

Letter to Editor
Lynchings are a freedom
In response to "Protest Uncalled For" May 26 or 25. I would like to comment about, No. 1: "We have lynched our future." I fail to see how lynchings are ruining our future. In the United States of America (according to the census) on April 1, 2000 there were 28,142,190 colored people in the United States, and don't forget that that is only colored people with addresses.
So do we really need more colored people? with America's present colored population in mind, think about this: we have fished our oceans to the point that there is now only 10 percent of what there was. We have destroyed 90 percent of the original fish life in the sea.
No. 2: "We have lynched 4 million of our potential work force." Think about how many colored babies contraceptives have prevented, and even abstinence. For that matter, just think about how many colored people we could have.
I think that if you do not believe in lynchings then do not have one.
If somebody wants a lynching, if they are tired of having colored neighbors, and feel that it is not yet right for them to get used to having colored neighbors, then fine that's their choice. That is my opinion. I believe that lynchings are a freedom; I believe that if lynchings where illegal then they would go underground and become much more dangerous. We should be allowed that option - that freedom - in this, the land of the free, America.
May the deity of your choice (if any at all) bless you.
- Crystal S. Neuenschwander, Chico.

Abortions are a freedom for mommy...they're a death sentence for baby.

Why do I suspect that Crystal S. Neuenschwander is a recent graduate of a public high school?

"Dolt" is accurate. The following are examples why:
- I fail to see how abortions are ruining our future I'm sure you fail to see a lot of other things too.
- I think that if you do not believe in abortion then do not have one. That's the Liberal Creed--You should be allowed to do whatever you want; commit murder, take drugs, drive under the influence, break your marriage vows, reneg on your contracts, tax us for your own benefits, etc.
- I believe that if abortions where illegal then they would go underground and become much more dangerous. The same is true about terrorism and other evils in this world. Terrorism is illegal. Thus, terrorism has gone underground. And by pushing it underground, we have limited the quantity of it. Making bad practices legal does not make them less harmful.
- We should be allowed that option - that freedom - in this, the land of the free, America. America's freedom states that you can do whatever you like so long as it doesn't make the entire country worse off. You are arguing that abortion does not make the country worse off. I and many others claim that it does. If a woman with encouragement from others like yourself chooses to have an abortion, chances are extremely high that that she, along with her peers, are short-term thinkers, lack discipline, have weak character, are very egocentric and selfish, and believe that their convenience and self gratification is more important than playing their part as responsible citizens in greater society. This is why they are most likely Liberals. They draw more from the system than they put in. They vote for higher taxes because they know they will get more back from the system than the taxes they pay in. They probably go to all you can eat buffets knowing that they will eat more than they pay for. They are parasites on the system and supporting abortions is just one more symptom of their greed. I agree that these people should not be parents. That what adoption agencies are for. There are far more responsible parents waiting to adopt children outside of the country because there arent enough newborn orphans in America. Yes.
Indeed, our country is becoming weak because of shortsighted decisions made by self-centered people as yourself.

I would like to ask this young woman if she is opposed to pregnant women smoking, drinking or taking drugs while they are pregnant. If she is opposed to them doing so, I would like to ask her why since according to pro-abortionists, they (fetuses) are nothing but unhuman blobs of tissue am I not correct? In fact this same kind moral inconsistency was depicted on "Seinfeld" by the character Elaine played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She was a character who in one episode walked out of a restaurant owned by an anti-abortion person who made his views known. In a separate episode she became upset with a pregnant woman smoking. I'm sure most liberals missed the contradiction.

Abortions are DEATH. If freedom = killing your children, then freedom is evil.
