Bush plays the Clinton game. He tries to be on both sides of any tough issue. If he disagrees with this report he should not have let it out as is. His blaming of the bureaucracy smells of his excuses for not connecting the dots on 911.

The gist of this reply probably has been posted elsewhere, but I can't weigh through 1200+ posts.

What really galls me is the way he distanced himself from the issue by blaming it on some nameless bureaucracy. That is called quibbling where I come from, and it stinks. He had no problem naming Iran, Iraq, and N. Korea as the axis of evil. Why can't he be as specific about domestic issues.

It's way past time to name names and kick ass.
