Regarding a good video series on the Revolution, there is a wonderful, wonderful series that is on PBS every now and then called, "Liberty, The American Revolution". It is beautifully done using the writings of those who lived during that era to tell the story. It also has hauntingly beautiful music. I have watched it numerous times, and am always inspired by it with a greater appreciation of what the early American patriots went through to gain liberty. The series also has a companion book that is excellent. Also at the website is a Revolutionary Game you can play. It is really a quiz with a lot of historical information given.
