I despise the chicoms. They are as vile as they are criminal. They held our beloved Cardinal Kung in solitary confinement for 30 YEARS. They couldn't break his spirit though, the b@$%$#@s.
Hero laid to rest The story of a soldier for Christ and freedom.

I'll never forget that day...
It was a sunny So Cal day and I was 19. I was watching Bernie Shaw on CNN. I forget why he was there but things were slowly getting out of control,You could tell by his voice... He seemed kinda nervous describing the events before him. Truly a Incredible Day.

You are correct. They will be moving into National Socialism.

Have you ever read "Bamboo Swaying in the Wind?" I think you might like it as its an autobiographical account of a Jesuit chinese monk who is imprisoned in communist china. Fr. Kung is mentioned in several parts

Forget the Tienanmen 8,000 miles away in Red China.
Remember the Tienanmen in Texas (Waco) that Jackboot Janet and the Klintons did.

I have not read it, but I am always looking for reading material and I love Cardinal Kung profoundly, so I thank you very much. He was just unbreakable and fearless. I happen to have met his nephew who runs the Cardinal Kung foundation and he sent me a third class relic of the Holy Cardinal.
...Not being able to tolerate Bishop Kung' boldness, the communist authorities arrested him and 200 other priests and church leaders. After several months of imprisonment, the communists, believing he had been broken, took him to a stadium where thousands of people had been gathered to hear the acknowledgment of his "crimes." The police pushed him in front of the microphone, and all awaited his words. To the shocked dismay of the communists, the small and seemingly broken prelate proclaimed in a loud voice, "Long live Christ the King, long live the pope." With that the crowd burst forth in response "Long live Christ the King, long live Bishop Kung." The security forces lost no time in forcefully dragging him to an awaiting police car.
Take that you commie b@$t@$%s!

Remember the Tienanmen in Texas (Waco) that Jackboot Janet and the Klintons did. We will forget neither as each stand as examples of sinless government posturing instead of instituting due process of law and a trial to resolve in transparency the standoffs. Both events took long enough mobilisation time to bring in the tanks in transparency, but not the dispute itself.
To: JMJ333
Daring the communist bastards to time and again declare themselves as guarrantors of sinlessness in the world is sure to make them look in the long run like mentaly ill fantasy striken delusional consumerist monsters. Fr. Kung is one such example that slips each day their foundations of sand.

bump. Communist nationalism thrives to its own dead end of absurdity.
To: geaux
The one I find most awe-inspiring:
Now that's "An Army Of One"...
when a guy stands alone in front of a string of tanks.

A ping for Chinese honorary FReepers.
A shame on our government for not showing support for these Chinese freedom loving patriots.
What a different World we would live in if the ChiComs went the way of the USSR and Eastern Block communism 13 years ago. Think about every negative influence in World affairs that communist China has had since then, and imagine if had been a positive one (or even no impact).
Decisions have consequences, and our decision to not offer even verbal encouragement to those that could have changed China and thus the World will forever haunt our souls.

MY MEMORY IS PLENTY CLEAR.
I know what the marching students were like before and after. I know what leaving the Mainland felt like on some well connected advice. I know Loved citizens who were blessed to escape with their very literally tortured lives.
They remain in my heart and prayers.
