The above is a letter Landmark Legal Foundation sent today to Senator Leahy, the Senate Judiciary Committee and Attorney General Ashcroft calling on Senator Leahy to step aside as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee in the probe of U.S. intelligence activities relating to the September 11 terror attacks.

Correct thinking, but Leahy is too arrogant to do the right thing (not that he would know the right thing if it slapped him in the face).

Your headline left me wondering which landmark made this statement.
I was thinking the Brooklyn Bridge might have spoken up.

Does anybody have any more information on Leahy's 1987 forced resignation from the Senate Intelligence Committee?
I've not heard about this before.

Way to go F. Lee. It would have been nice if holdonnow mentioned the killing of a field agent as a result of the leak, as I understand it. That is no no land I guess...

Excellent. Levin sure is true to his word. On his radio show Sunday he said he was going to write a letter to Leahy asking him to recuse himself.

It's nice to see that Landmark has taken a break from hassling the Bush Administration to hassle Senator Leahy. This is Klayman's organization, keep in mind. Every time I get one of their fundraising pamphlets lauding their efforts to tear documents out of the hands of the NEA, I wonder whether I can send a segregated donation, on the condition that none of the money I provide may be used to treat the Bush Administration as if it were its predecessor.

One of the 100 Smartest Lawyers in the country is NOT on the Judiciary Committee.....Wonder Why Not?? Of course I am speaking of Hillary Clinton....why didn't she pick a committee of which she is an "expert"???

Thank the Lord for Landmark Legal and The Great One! Though I don't expect sinator depends to heed the call, or the lieberal media to report this, at least this is probably enough to cause the sinator to need a new depends.

POINT MADE........POINT WILL BE IGNORED BY THE SENATE!
Further, Congress still allows Gary Condit to sit on the Intelligence Committee in that body.

Politicians leak when it suits them. That's where Mr. Drudge came from and why he continues to exist.
