Woody and George W. are both from Midland. Just two West Texas boys.

decide if there will be charges Evidently this is common practice in London. Oh, maybe if you are Woody or and O.J. they have to think awhile to see what law you might have broken.

Bad boys, bad boys,
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do when they come for you?
He could have been on Cops!

Eventually, Harrelson was tracked down and taken to a police station, where he spent the rest of the night in jail before posting bail and returning to the hotel to rejoin his wife, Laura, and two young daughters, Demi and Zoe. See the full story from E! Online.

He spent the night in a Belgravia jail cell tied up with rope mad of hemp, no doubt!
Another pot-smoking poster child hits the dust. Notice the violence associated with his actions!

A major set-back for the Free Trade of alternative uses of hemp crowd.
Must've suffered quite a flashback!
I wonder if he knows what year it is?

Didn't Harrelson say he would move to England (Europe?) if Bush won? Maybe he's keeping his word....nah, too much to expect of a Hollywood type.
If he returns to the U.S., Bush should break relations with Britian for letting him out of jail. He terrorized a London cabbie didn't he? If we let him back, he's liable to hijack a New York cab and drive it into the Empire State Building.

I recognize Snipes, but why is Tourist Guy on the cover of that movie? (I know, I know...) Because it was another disaster??

Another junkie gone berserk. Oh well, at least he went on his rampage in Britain instead of here. Maybe his weed was laced with something, or maybe he's moved on to harder drugs by now.
To: moyden
If he were a dope smoker, this would not have happened.

The taxi driver has been paid off and the charged were dropped.
To: moyden
The French gendarmes would have just shot him in the back
if he tried to flee.

Smart tactic. Pay the taxi driver half the amount of money that lawyer fees for a trial would have cost and watch him "admit" to his "web of lies".
If I were the cabbie, I would probably take the money and run, too. Woody is a celebrity. He wouldn't have faced any real penalties anyway.

They finally caught him, restrained him and put him in a van. I went to the station with them and they locked him up. Police will send a file to the Crown Prosecution Service, who will decide if there will be charges. I wonder if we can ask the Brits to keep him? Funny though, that it took over a dozen of those guys to get him. Must have been the inefectual british side-arm replacement: the shout - to wit "Stop or I shall be forced to yell stop again." (Yeah, I stole that from somewhere but it eludes me from whence just now).

Boy, did we dodge a bullet this time. He would have been been on "Oprah" and "Rosie" three or four times a week.
