It's all of you doing the endless bumping that make this successful. Hats off to all of you!
Psst...Grampa Dave...I'm cooking a frozen pizza, how do I get to your house? LOL!
You are too late. We had a salad with a fresh California tomato (real tomato looks like one, smells like one and tastes like one). The salad was home grown lettuces from a farmer friend topped with sliced hickory smoked chicken breasts (cooked this morning). Then, we topped that with Sonoma Feta cheese. With slices of local French bread. For desert, fresh Kali white peaches and strawberries grown here in the wine country with a little desert wine on them.
One of the reasons why the Napa Valley has so many 5 star restaurants is the local produce, salads, fruits, cheeses, breads and sea food brought daily from the ocean. Saturday night we had fresh ocean king salmon caught that day in the Ocean off of Bodega Bay. The fisherman delivers them in the afternoon for Saturday night and Sunday meals.
