Yes they love it there .. my hubby is a redneck from Alabama and before the kiddies, we use to road trip down south all the time

I do have to say . the folks we met in North Carolina were some of the most friendly I have ever met .. just real nice people

We stopped for lunch and this one place and the waiter we had was so dang nice that we left him a $20 tip for our $10 meal

I think we made is day that day .. LOL ... but he was just so nice .. he deserved it

Since tomorrow is Saturday ..I might get here late .. the hubby usually takes care of the kiddies so I can sleep in late .. isn't he sweet .. now if I can ONLY get him to stop wearing the NASCAR T-shirts and hat .. fofl

My mothers family is like that .. my mom had seven kids

She told me once that her mother told her about the rhythm method .. and with a straight face she said her mother was wrong and that doesn't work

Sometime I so wish I lived a long time ago, and other time I'm glad I live now. It's similar to wanting to be 21 with the knowledge of a 40 year old.... Our parents did the best they could with the advice given at the time. Our kids will think the same about us when they have kids.

Yes, I am sure our kids will think the same .. I just try to teach my kids to never forget who they are and where they come from ..

LOL! My daughters tell me, Mom, you're getting like Grandma. I've told them, if I ever get like her, they have to lock me in the closet and throw away the key! It's sad, we all try not to talk to her.

Long story short I was telling the girls where our families came from .. Mine came from Ireland .. My mom-inlaw's come from Italy but I didn't know where my dad inlaws folks came from .. I asked the hubby what nationality .. he said .. southern . I asked my dad inlaw .. he said southern .. I asked the grandfather and he said southern .. LOL

I gave up trying to figure it out ..

Well the oldest was in school and the teacher was asking these types of questions and my proud daughter says .. My Mommy's family is Irish and My Daddy is a Redneck .. Apparently the teacher was laughing so hard .. she had to leave the room .. LOL
