Good-Bye Cruel Free Republic

Well, it's been 4 years since I first found Free Republic. I have always felt like I belonged here and have really enjoyed the banter back and forth between us members. I am afraid all this is now over. I am really suprised and shocked at it's suddenness. Before I leave I want to thank a freeper from Michigan who sent me a DVD player last year to give to my kids for Christmas. You reaffirmed my faith in humanity.

I know this thread will be deleted before many people get to read it, but I just can't go without saying a final word. Every since 911 the 'vibe' here at FR has been decidedly hostile. I guess it was a matter of time before the newbie moderator got around to weeding me out for my sometimes unpopular views. So I join the ranks of A+Bert and so many others who gave FR a interesting flavor. I will miss coming here 20 times a day and keeping up on things. But without posting priviledges there is just no point. I must go find another conservative group to try to be a part of.

In the future, when a freeper who has been a loyal member since August 1998 crosses the line, how about a note instead of banning? Would that have been too much? I may have gotten out of line, how is beyond me, but if such a tresspass would have been pointed out I would gladly have refrained from doing so again. It is just not right to just ban an account with no explaination. Especially when the freeper has been here 4 years. I have no idea what I am going to do with my days now that I no longer have FR. Well, I guess I have said my part. It is a sad day when one has to leave family and friends. I feel like some of you were just that. But apparently I am no longer wanted around here. I bid my good day to you all and hope that karma pays it's respects to those who do injustice.

Someone who has been around as "long" as you should know that racism is not welcome here. I suppose that we could warn you to not be a racist, but honestly, we would rather racists not be here at all instead of being here holding their tongue.

I know what you mean. I will not vote for a woman for office. They just are not capable enough to handle it. I have voted against the insane Sue Myrick every chance I have had and hate that I will most likely vote for the democrat for senate. We need someone just like Jesse who is young. Not some female. I don't think the GOP understands that despite all the civil rights junk that has happened around here most voters are old people (and not a few young ones) who look fondly on the old days. We will not vote for a woman nor for a black. Regardless of who they are running against. I would vote for Bill Clinton for senate before Liza Dole. I wish we had more choices.

I have had things like that happen here. A while back I posted some childish things about the government and a day or 2 after that I had a military helicopter circle my house about 10 times at about 100ft. It even had a loaded rocket launcher and the guy in the window was staring directly at me. Then a couple months ago a cessna did some really strange tricks right over my house. Things like loopdy-loops and dives and barrel rolls. He was flying extremely low while doing these tricks. Scared the jeebers out of me. I thought he was going to hit my house. I didn't know a cessna could do loops like that.

I had a friend when I was a teenager that had his pilot's license. Our 'gang' used to hang out on a old strip mine. He dropped us items and regularly flew by at heights of 5-10 feet. That was wild because we usually parked on this high spot in the middle of the mine. When he flew by the wings would be lower than the ground we were standing on. It is probably just some kid with a new license playing around.

Sorry to hear about your condition. Let me clue you in on mine. I have this thing called "tinnitus". I have had it all my life (well, at least since I was 5. I remember hearing it then) It gets worse every year. It is now louder than the cicadas and crickets outside. Imagine a 18,000hertz tone playing loudly 24-7/365.25. It is enough to drive a person completely insane. Loud music masks this tone. It gives me an escape from it for a while. I listen to music almost constantly. I listen to it loud enough to completely cover the ringing. I reckon it can be heard at least 150ft away. I have 580 watts of power and I use it. I will not turn it down for anyone. I made a computer program once that replicated the tone and volume of my ringing and played it for 90 seconds. Everyone in the house ran into the room to tell me to turn it off. They made it less than a minute and I have to endure it FOREVER. I have loud things so they will cover the ringing. I put a cherry bomb muffler on my work truck because the radio is not loud enough. ANYTHING to cover the ringing. I am sorry if you get anxious or nervous when you hear a little bass. I refuse to lose what little sanity I have left just because my music may scare you.

Tell that to my friend Eddie. I saw that girl he was with. I thought she was 20. She said she was 18. She was really a 14 year old runaway. He got caught. He spent 90 days in house arrest and is now a sex offender. I saw the way she was on him. No adult male could have resisted her unless he was gay. Now that follows him around for the rest of his life. He is no child molestor. These things happen more often than real molesting and ruin men's lives because females like to lie about their age. Punish them until they won't or can't do it again and let the others get on with their lives. If someone is a pedophile they have no business on the streets if there is the slightest chance they will do it again. Keep them in jail until they are no longer a threat. That way there is no need to warn neighbors about anyone.

There were so many when I was in school. Let's see....there was James Leeber, 8th grade english at Park Jr High. He molested a male student twice and did not lose his job. Matter of fact he was even more popular with the kids. Then there was Neil Hawkins, Phys-Ed teacher at Park Jr High. He felt that it was important to lie on the stand about my sister in a court case. But I reckon the most incompetent, stupid, dangerous individual I have even seen in the field of education was Donnie Shupe. He was the principal of Crescent Elementary way back when I went there. He routinely broke the rules concerning discipline. He liked to beat me daily with his little paddle and when that one broke he got another one. He enjoyed the fact that he had me spend my school days in a closet in the office instead of in class. He told me I was stupid and would never be anything but a drain on society. (My IQ is only a proven 75 points higher than his). So for his abuse and lack of proceedure he got promoted. He is now head of the Board of Education in Raleigh County, WV. How I would love to run into him one day. I have about 160 paddlings to repay to him. Oh, and no small amount of verbal abuse too.

One more, 5th grade math teacher at Crescent Elementary back in 78. Lightning struck through the window and hit me square in the chest. It discolored my shirt and left a burned bruise on me. I was on the floor crying in pain and she told me to shut up, quit acting stupid and get back in my seat. No doctor, no help. It's a wonder I didn't die. I wish I could remember her name.

With such fine educators in Beckley, WV, is it any wonder I quit school the second I was old enough?

My sister, brother-in-law, his brother, his best friend, and practically their entire peer group did not complete school because of blacks and their acting thuggish at school. Who can learn when the thug in back won't shut up or sit down or stop propositioning the white girls? Segregation worked. If all the kids in the school are black then there can be no racial profiling or excuse that the white man is keeping them down. If all the kids in the school are white then there will be far less disruption and assaults. Everyone wins. Our grandparents were not stupid. They had a system that worked for a long time. Out parents came along and under the guise of civil rights and 'fairness' and ruined everything. Now we must live with the consequenses. Seperate but equal was/is a good idea. It was never really applied. The SC should have forced equity of expenditure and not went for the quick "fix" (it fixed NOTHING) of desegrregation.

Probably the main reason you lasted as long here as you did is that you really didn't post all that much until the last month. There is more to being an established freeper than just having an old account.

Oh, and by the way. The newbie moderator who took you out? His name is Jim Robinson.
