And the first of these is with respect to a William Davis. And the parties have agreed that if he were called as a witness in this case, he would testify as follows: "I am married to Patricia Davis, who is the sister of the defendant, Timothy James McVeigh. In early 1993, I owned and operated a business known as Bill Davis Electric which was then located in my home at 11240 N.W. 27th Court, Plantation, Florida, 33323.

Jose Padilla was living in the Ft. Lauderdale area and studying Islam at the SAME TIME that Timothy McVeigh was living in Plantation, FL which is right next door to Ft. Lauderdale. This doesn't mean yet that they met, but it does show they had to opportunity to know each other. And I am still wondering about the whereabouts of Jose Padilla in April, 1995.

Remember, this is ALSO the same time that Padilla was studying at a couple of local Mosques. Wasn't this also the same time that the first WTC bombing occurred?

I knew the bombing looked like a car bomb, and my gut reaction said "Islamic tangos." Looks like they hitched up with a couple of fall guys.

Hopefully there will be more puzzle pieces that can be found. This isn't conclusive but it does show that there was a definite opportunity for McVeigh and Padilla to have met. I would like to see a timeline of McVeigh's locations from this point on compared to a similar timeline/locations for Padilla. I am especially interested in Padilla's locations in early 1995 leading up to April 1995.

From an old conspiracy report on Constitution.org:

JOHN DOE #2 IDENTIFIED: BUT CAN WE GET THE FBI TO ARREST HIM?

"...when Terry L. Nichols and co-defendant Timothy McVeigh were indicted with "others unknown" for the April 19, 1995 Oklahoma City bombing of the Murrah Federal Building, the grand jury's report said the the conspiracy was financed in part by the Nov. 5, 1994 robbery of an Arkansas gun dealer. That theft involved 70 weapons and other property taken at gunpoint from a Royal, Ark., man. Roger Moore, the 60 year old victim, said he was alone at 9:15 a.m. when he stepped outside his house and was surprised by an intruder who wore "woodland" pattern camouflage fatigues and a black ski mask . The suspect subdued Moore with a postol-grip shotgun and then bound him with flex cuff restraints and duct tape.

As it turns out, Moore was once a friend of Tim McVeigh and says the two met at a gun show in Florida in 1995* and stayed in contact thereafter. Moore told investigators that on one visit to his home, McVeigh was wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the words "White Power." The McCurtain Gazette has also learned the McVeigh's associations include membership in the Ku Klux Klan."

*[This would have had to be before April 19, 1995.]

What are the Feds going to do? Provide a blank Padilla timeline for early 1995? The beauty about the Net is that there are too many folks out there hot on this case and won't accept a whitewash. The fact is that we now know that Al Qaeda uses non-mideasterners for their terror activities.

Also, McVeigh's sister lived in Florida during that period of time (1995), so he could easily have visited or stayed with her.

Would that be the gun show at the Ft. Lauderdale War Memorial Auditorium? I've been to that one several times including just this past weekend.

How old is Jose Padilla?

Padilla is 31 so in early 1993 he was about 22, in about the same age range as McVeigh. Also remember that February 1993 was the time of the first WTC bombing and ALSO the siege at Waco which was of concern to McVeigh. If Padilla and McVeigh had met, it is no stretch that conversation about both these events which was of concern to both, would have been brought up.

Padilla was in trouble with the law at a very early age. His entire life has been full of criminal behavior. He went from a small time juvenile delinquent to one of the world's most dangerous men in a time span of about fourteen years. Changing the subject: did McVeigh stay in the Army, or did he leave early? What were the dates in which he served? When did he get out?

Yes, he reportedly had a tattoo on his upper left arm. However, according to other stories Federal prosecutors identified the John Doe No. 2 as Army Pvt. Todd Bunting and eliminated him as a suspect.

Do you recall how we learned of Padilla's arrest? Ashcroft announced it while in Russia. Does anyone find that unusual? Here is my take: Ashcroft had to get out and tell the public, because he probably feared Padilla's arrest would be leaked by Justice Dept. squealers. Why else does he call a press conference abruptly, while in Moscow??? To tell us about a guy they took into custody a month earlier? Additionally, Ashcroft has also told us that Padilla would be held "indefinitely." Translation: we have a HUGE "get" here folks.

But....remember, our Prez at the time was the illustrious WJC, puppet master and manipulator, liar criminal extraordinaire, so almost ANYTHING would have gone...as far as his administration was concerned...if it was NOT in his best interest to have a "foreign" terrorist connection to the OKC bombing.....

I dunno.

Also, does Padilla have any ties to WTC-93?

More than likely, WTC-93 was a big topic of conversation at his mosque. Remember WTC-93 occurred in February. If he met McVeigh who was living in Ft. Lauderdale at that time, WTC-93 and Waco, which was of concern to McVeigh, would have probably been brought up. Somehow I don't see these two discussing the new Marlins expansion team.

Does anybody know if the Taco Bell in Davie that Padilla worked at was located on University Ave. near I-595 at the Tower Shoppes location? The reason why I ask is that I have eaten there several times although I usually prefer the nearby Pollo Tropicale. Just curious but it does bring this story into a more personal perspective if the Davie Taco Bell was at this location.

Padilla converted to Islam in 1993, if not before. Remember his manager at Taco Bell, Mohammed Javed , who said Padilla asked him about converting to Islam, but since it was against company policy to discuss religion, he told Padilla to look for Islamic schools in the phone book?

In the 6/12 Miami Herald, we learn that Mohammed Javed, 49, a Pakistani immigrant who managed a Taco Bell where Padilla and his wife worked is the co-founder of the Broward School of Islamic Studies in Sunrise. In a 6/15 Sun-Sentinelstory about the arrest of Adham A. Hassoun, 40, a Sunrise man listed as the registered Florida agent for the Benevolence Foundation we learn:

Hassoun attended the Islamic Center of South Florida in Pompano Beach and the School of Islamic Studies of Broward in Sunrise. At the Al-Iman mosque in Fort Lauderdale, he often led prayers when former imam Raed Awad was not available, Abdelaziz said.

Awad, who left Al-Iman about two years ago, was also the chief Florida fund-raiser for the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, which the government shut down in December, charging that the group was a major financial supporter of the militant Palestinian group Hamas. The organization and Awad deny the charges.

So we are asked to believe that Jawad, at Taco Bell, had nothing to do with Padilla’s Islamism, and isn’t just a coincidence that Jawad is linked to Hassoun through the Islamic school, and Hassoun filled in for Awad at the mosque that Padilla attended? Right.

As far as Padilla’s attending the Pembroke Pines mosque in 1995, as I posted on an earlier thread, this is deliberate misinformation. The leader of the that mosque suddenly produces a picture of Padilla, and remembers that he attended classes there, but he made the following statements to local papers immediately following Padilla’s arrest:

From the 6/12/02 Sun-Sentinel:

About a year ago, Stultz called the Pembroke Pines-based Darul Uloom Institute, religious leader Maulana Shafayat Mohamed said. He said he remembers she reminded him that her husband, Ibrahim, who wore an Arab-type head scarf, had gone to the institute before.

He said Stultz told him her husband had gone to Egypt to study.

Mohamed said he thinks she was calling for counseling or advice.

He wrote down the word “wedding,” but cannot remember ever following up, he said.

From the Miami Herald , 6/12/02:

From 1995 to 1996, Padilla occasionally attended Saturday morning Koran studies run by the Darul Uloom Islamic Institute in Pembroke Pines. Maulana Shafayat Mohamed, head of the Institute, said he always wore a kaffiyeh scarf over his head -- the multicolored headscarf typically worn by devout Muslim men in the Middle East.
His wife, who identified herself as Marwah, sought marital counseling after her divorce last year, Mohamed said.
''I don't know why she called me. Maybe because I'm a religious leader. She told me Ibrahim had divorced her and had moved to Egypt,'' he said. .

It would appear that the Islamic network is doing all it can to deflect attention away from the Fort Lauderdale mosque.

Given how much the Islamists turn out to hate Americans, you have to wonder whether some Muslims running food outlets might take it into their heads to poison their customers. I love Indian food. Is there a way to tell whether the proprietor of an Indian restaurant is Moslem or not?

OMG!!! I've eaten at that Taco Bell several times. It is part of the Tower Shoppes area. If I remember, I usually ordered a large steak burrito there. I sometimes ate there if it was later in the evening. If I am in that area earlier in the evening, I'll usually eat at the nearby Pollo Tropicale. In fact I almost always make a pit stop at that Pollo Tropicale if I am in that area around suppertime. (And have a burrito at that Taco Bell if later).

(Now wondering if John Doe #2 ever served me a burrito.)

Most likely there won't be any Moslems working at an Indian restaurant since Hindus and Moslems don't get along.

I honestly think that the guy who they called John Doe #2, is actually Mohammed Atta. Then there's Andre Strassemeir. Either one might be John Doe #2. Padilla, in 1993, was a little heavier and also looks a lot like John Doe #2. Hell it could be anyone. I would probably say it's Padilla, but I lean to Mohammed Atta. The reason why, is that he stayed at the same hotel as McVeigh for many weeks prior to the bombing.
