BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the Unresolved Problems segment tonight, it is estimated by Rice University that undocumented aliens cost U.S. taxpayers $24 billion every year. And in Arizona, a federal judge has just added to that.

Right now, about 175 illegals in Arizona are getting free kidney dialysis treatments, but they were supposed to end on June 30. However, Judge William Browning has extended the benefits for five illegals who are very ill.

Free dialysis is simply not enough. These people are probably in need of cash benefits too - we need to immediately provide welfare benefits for these future Republicans.

Let's provide them with a gravy trainload while we're at it. It is just me or am I too cynical? ;-)

The economy of the United States would self-destruct without the noble efforts of our undocumented migrants. Who are we to question the expenditure of a pittance for their health and welfare needs?

Good point. No one wants to seem heartless to those who need dialysis to live.

"I want to quote this new bill in Congress that people may not be aware of it. Senator Jeff Bingaman from New Mexico, a Democrat, and John McCain, a Republican from Arizona, are asking for increased Medicare funds, and believe the federal government ought to bear the expense of providing care to undocumented workers because the government failed to enforce immigration laws by keeping them out of the country in the first place." (Fox News)

New Mexico and Arizona? Anyone else notice that it is the fistful of states where over half of all aliens in the U.S. live wanting to tax the rest of us forever to bail them out?

The vast majority of illegals in the U.S. live in just a few states - Kalifornia, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, New York, and New Jersey - and they want Americans in 44 other states forced to subsidize their cheap labor by paying the welfare of their cheap-labor illegals.

Then those same states also want to Quebecize us. New Mexico even has a state legal provision making Spanish a coequal official language.

I say it's time for a boycott of things made or grown in those states.

Get the sticker!

It would unfair and unjust to send a bill to Vicente Fox for the cost of these treatments. They are heroic pioneers who simply come here to help the United States economy flourish.

If John McLame and Jeff Bingaman really wanted to help these unfortunates, they would bill Mexico for the treatment. Which I think is perfectly reasonable considering we are taking care of THEIR citizens. Or would that be viewed as "anti-immigrant?" Its time we stopped playing suckers for Vicente Fox and his government.

Oh dear, you must have missed the message. We are now to be compassionate in our dealings with these unfortunate individuals. Don't you know that there is an unlimited amount of taxpayer funds available to pay for their upkeep? We simply must extend this initiative to all of the states and perhaps worldwide.

Sarcasm, I see your point about not sending the bills to Fox but I think you are reaching just a bit calling these people "heroic pioneers". I live in Phoenix and have spent a little bit of time in Mexico. After seeing the quality of life for most people down there I understand why they make the trip across the desert. They do not want to be heroic they just want to make an honest living. For the most part the wages in Mexico are almost non-existent, a day-laborer can make as much in an hour here as he made in a day in Mexico. They aren't heroes that are here to make our economy flourish they are just looking for a better life, but we still shouldn't have to pay for thier medical bills. I've lived in the states my entire life and I still have to pay for my medical needs, even if my work covers the majority of my insurance I still pay something every week.

McCain just wants Americans to be Mexico's welfare office.

Uh huh. We can afford it and after all I can just hear the pro-illegal immigrant lobby tell us "don't be a crybaby" and "stop being selfish." This is for our own good you know and we better get used to it, starting now.

Just think of it as reparations for the past imperialistic behavior of the United States.

Exactly. What else could it be? Think of as "Dialysis & Gringo's Mexican American War Stipend."

No problem. I'm an expert in PC speech. I've actually caused some extreme liberals to blanch at some of my comments.

It's much more that the Mexican-American war that we're talking about here. Don't you know that the selfish Americans and their imperialist behavior are the cause of all of the poverty in Latin America, and for that matter, the whole world?

Why discriminate in favor of Mexicans? Come, let every one who needs it badly enter the United States to receive taxpayer funded medical care. No racial profiling, please. We must endeavor to be fair and atone for all our past misdeeds.
