On Friday Saundra Duffy, Lager, and tinacart braved the violent peaceniks in front of the First United Methodist Church to show support for Israel and stand against terrorists and their supporters.

The good people arriving to listen to Robert Fisk, British "journalist" and Palestinian apologist spew forth more propaganda, were greeted by Saundra proudly flying the Flag of the United States of America and the Flag of Israel. Signs carried by tinacart and lager supported Israel and condemned terrorists (pictures forthcoming). Saundra shouted "Jew Killers" and we shouted "Supporters of Baby Killers" and other to-the-point messages. The good people from inside, some of them wearing "Event Monitor" stickers on their shirts, were far from peaceful. They formed a chain and blocked the sidewalk, pushed and shoved, and would try to intimidate Saundra and push against her so closely until the flag she was carrying would be blown by the wind into their twisted hateful faces and they would screech, "get your flag out of my face!" In response, Saundra would shout "no, get your face off my flag!"

Channel 19 showed up (the spanish-speaking network, I forget what it's called - maybe Vision or Univision, something like that?), interviewed the sponsors of the event, and videotaped everyone.

After constantly threatening us, someone from inside must have called the police. One officer arrived, asked us to stop chanting when the speaking began (informed us he understood, that he is a Jew), and then spoke with the event monitors. They lied, lied, lied (of course)! They claimed we (all three of us) blocked the sidewalk and pushed. I have to say, I've been to rallies and freeps, and I felt a little intrepidation when I went to the Success freep (against klintoon) at the Cow Palace because of that area, but I took my grandchildren and felt safe. I suspected that they shouldn't attend this time, and left them safely home, out of harm's way. I'm glad I did. I was shocked to witness people who claim to be bible-believers acting like union thugs! At freeps there are always exchanges of words, maybe a little yelling, but nothing like this! These people were ready to riot! Little old ladies were screaming and trying to force us away. Men were very threatening, oh how brave they appeared to be (until the officer arrived and their gang quickly dissolved into the crowd). One member wearing her "Peace Action" tee shirt was not very peaceful, she was beside herself with rage that we dared exercise our freedom of speech! We stood up to the crowd, especially Saundra with her VERY loud voice! She gave it right back. This seemed to really bother the angry crowd. They wanted us to just go away... Some cars driving by honked and showed support, but for the most part it was the three of us against the angry mob, and everyone going by seemed disinterested, as if in a "slumber" perhaps.

I have to say, the reason I began chanting "Supporters of Baby Killers" was to antagonize the mob, as most of the women looked like those feminazis that "escort" girls into the abortion mills. They all had that same haircut, style of dress, and hateful faces! I knew that chant would especially hit home with them. Saundra didn't need her bullhorn - that woman has some set of lungs on her! And, she kept up the heat. The mob didn't want to hear any of it, but we stayed until everyone was inside, then the army of two walked me to my car and I drove home, wondering what time service starts at the First United Methodist Church on Sunday. Will it be a peace-filled "sermon?" That would be nice.

Your doughty little band of Freepers was heroic, in my estimation. These warped radicals get pretty violent at times. They are filled with hate and rage. Being on church grounds makes no difference to them all.

Fisk goes out to California to earn some pocket change from time to time. He gets on the Noam Chomsky circuit and lectures to the Useful Idiots, then goes back to Beirut and hangs out with his pals.

You spoke truth, and should be commended. Anti-semitism comes in many forms. Sometimes it's the march of hobnailed boots and the knock on the door. At other times, it's the efforts of mindless robots carrying signs supporting Palestinian terrorism.

Hand the Nazis this much: at least you knew where they were coming from.

Does that mean that what they were really trying to say is that they're appropriated Judaism for themselves so that that this time around the genocide will go even more smoothly?

Actually, it was worse than that! They were yelling things like "you are idiots, we are Jews so we know the truth, they are killing the innocent Palestinians" and things like "you don't know what you are talking about, I've been over there, and the Palestinians are innocent" and things like "Danny Pearl was killed by the CIA." I responded with "ye who are a Jew OUTWARDLY - ye are a lying liberal!" One "Event Monitor" was especially fixated on the CIA, even wrote something on a piece of paper and tried to give it to Saundra or lager to read. It was truly weird! They (the ones claiming to be Jews) kept yelling that they were friends of Robert Fisk, he was a good guy, blahblahblah. They tried to sing "If I had a Hammer" but I changed it to "If I had a Bomb" and they dropped that. Then they tried "Freedom of Stupid Speech," but we just kept outdoing them no matter what they came up with. Of course, they felt they had won the round and were of extreme superiority over us... The only thing they had over us was numbers, and that didn't even help them.
