Maybe you have listened to the "violence begats violence" crowd & misapplied it. Violence does begat violence in a family, but as a punishment for horrible criminal activity it stops violence by that individual. These people continue to be a danger to guards & other prisoners, also they may escape, some have been let out on parole. With todays technology (DNA testing etc.) I feel very certain that a person convicted of a crime, is guilty. They have had years of appeals, & everything has been checked & re-checked. I doubt if any innocent person is executed today, but this has happened in the past.

Heavenly Father,

Once again we come to You and seek Your mercy for Elizabeth. As the grueling investigation into her kidnapping continues, we can only keep our eyes on Your face. You are the only hope that this child has. We pray, Father, that her life has been spared and that You will lead rescuers to her exact location. We pray that those who hold her would have mercy on her. Father, we know You hear our cries and pleas for Elizabeth. Hide her in the shadow of Your wings, Father, and protect her until these calamities have passed. Let no evil befall her, Lord, but give Your angels charge over her to keep her in all her ways. We commit Elizabeth and her family to You, believing in Your sovereignty, and knowing that You hear our prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thank you for all your prayers, Faith. They keep the focus on Elizabeth. I feel certain that the Heavenly Father will answer the thousands of prayers going up for this lovely girl, and release her soon.

I have a feeling that this messed-up gang that has taken her are keeping her alive and trying to figure out how to return her and get the reward. They don't seem to be too bright, judging from Edmunds and Ricci. I hope their associates holding Elizabeth are females, and are treating her kindly.

Please, Lord, let them release her today. Amen.

I really think poor Edmunds is just a small-town boy gone bad, who really couldn't handle city life and ought to be back in Manti working on a ranch and dating a Mormon farm girl.
