McBride may be a different story but he'll have to win the nomination first. No easy matter unless he's willing to say things which will kill his chances in the general election.

caltrop, Should you remember to freepmail me after this election, you will discover to your surprise that I had this additional problem, above in bold, solved as well by my idea. Too bad for McBride that I am supporting Gov Bush! :)

Reno must be in the panhandle trying to stir up the yellow-dog 'RAT "Bush destroyed my hertiage" vote. She needs all those Lawton Chilies types. Unfortunately for Janet, the CINOs (Conservatives In Name Only) hoping to defeat Jeb have been awfully quite lately because they KNOW they can't support her in PUBLIC or they'll be exposed. A few months ago they were all gung-ho about defeat "Scalawag Jeb" with a "real" Floridian. But they know Reno's FAR more of a "tyrant" than any of the garbage they spew about Jeb.

It's ironic, Jeb's actually far more conservative than his brother at this point. And he's far more associated with Florida than "native" daughter Reno.

There is no way Reno can win without such vocal support for her campaign. Since only the unabashed LIBERAL Democrats (and not the "moderate" Democrats and/or phony conservative yellow-dogs) will publically promote her, she's toast. Bye bye, cutie pie.

"Janet is a unique candidate, and there is enormous excitement about her candidacy as she campaigns, even during these summer days when it's hard to get people out," Harburger said. "We think she will inspire turnout that's never been seen before."

Reno's spokesperson is dead right. Few Republicans will sit home this election.

LOL!

BTW, here's a revised headline for this article:

Reno thinks numbers can work in her favor;
Voters know letters J-E-B will work against her

"But I don't know if she's going to be able to gin-up enough. . . ."

Good point.
