I agree unless data can be found to support them.... I've not looked for supporting data but I just don't feel they are accurate based upon other info I've seen.

But the point is that they all want to claim that they alone "Elected the President".... no matter which group from Nader, Buchanan, Muslims, right wingers, etc. when in fact it was a combination of all without anyone group it would have been a win for Gore.

But that is Mark Levin's style, like it or not.

It's still no excuse for dozens of Bush supporters to descend on him, and act like he's the antichrist or something. He's a fellow freeper, one with an opinion that is worth as much as yours or mine, and should be respected as such. Don't you agree?

I suspect these chaps will be effecting a mid course correction in the immediate future. They are shot from the hip and irresponsible types, and I don't have much use for them, but they are not so terminally stupid as to offend their base and their meal ticket.

I have never heard Mark imply that anyone was a "retard", that is certainly not his style...

He stated very clearly on this thread (after being treated disrespectfully first) that he was dishing back what many on this thread have been dishing out at the likes of he, Rush and Sean.

He held the mirror up to folks who are so blinded by their passions they can't see their own reflection in it.

I have two theories, FWIW. It was holdonnow in total meltdown or a previously prominent person on FR who had a major role in a candidate's run for the Presidency in 2000.

I've listened to Rush religiously for that last seven years... Rush made a huge error in believing the NYT rather than getting it from the source himself... Sean then followed suit and Dan Quayle shorthly thereafter corrected him on his show on FNC...

The behavior of many FReepers on this thread was nasty, but-oh-so typical of what passes for discourse on FR these days. You guys started in on "holdonnow" on this thread right from the start with snide condescension and went right into personal attacks. He started his comments on the substance of the matter and he was immediately talked down to like I've seen done so many times to others here. Yet you all act shocked when he returns your insults in kind and attempt to denigrate him for doing so.

I'm with you. I am ashamed that as good a friend as Mark Levin, a fellow FReeper and one who has proven himself "in the trenches" time and time again, received such shabby treatment.

Anyone who calls another freeper a "little puke," a "retard" , or a "dope" is not worth listening to. I don't care if his opinions were 100% for President Bush. Such malarkey is unworthy of this forum, and one who is supposedly a big Reagan backer would never have used those terms.

So, no, I do not think his opinioins have equal weight, and I do not have to give them the time of day.

I have very little use for Rush myself and haven't for some time! My opinion of Keyes is well known on here! I never get Hannity's radio show and I refuse to watch him and Colmes screaming at each other. As for Levin, I was genuinely shocked at his attitude on here. On my radio they have all four have just become irrelevant!

You should notice a difference between my reply #1097 and the run of the mill tin foil thread or response.

You will notice that I added the acronym FWIW(For what it's worth) in my response, implying that my words were not gospel as the run of the mill tinfoiler thinks his or her's are.
