Thx for posting this link, as I did not see the interview live. Katie Couric is a short, shrill, insecure feminazi who deserves 100% of the heat that comes her way. I'm sure this was hilarious to watch (although I never watch the show). Ann had something which Katie finds hard to fight - the truth backed up by facts. Thank God she stands up to these idiots publicly with such grace.

It's unrealistic to expect ANY person to be objective when talking about something he or she said. Even more unrealistic when that person is a liberal shill like Katie. She should not have conducted the interview in this manner. I don't know -- is the Today show considered news or entertainment? Do they even pretend it's news? Maybe Katie is trying to cast herself in the Greta mold now that the cuteness factor is wearing thin.

I bought the book last night. Surprisingly, my local B&N had it right up front as you enter the store. It's a great book. All examples she cites are well documented and footnoted. Any gift I give will be this book for the next six months. Birthdays, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs....

Katie Colic shows her butt realistically and figuratively every day. Her smugness and self rightiousness is sickening. I would take Ann Coulter as a friend any day over Kate Colic. Katie's bias and prejudice is evident and obvious in this case with Ann.

You know, I have to get back to alt.radio.talk (where I haven't hung around in quite a while) and post this. There's a radio wacko there by the name of Bob Smith of a Rochester radio station who couldn't refute Katie's calling Reagan an airhead, so he just denied that it happened. And he did it every time someone mentioned it, even when he hadn't been in the conversation. I wrote the the MRC people about a transcript of those opening moments. They said they'd get back to me, but never did.

But short of posting a MP3 file with the actual broadcast, I don't think that Bob would've been happy. Hell, he'd probably swear that the mp3 was faked anyway.

No wonder he's spent a couple decades in Rochester and never made it down into NYC.
