THANK YOU BILL CLINTON & LIBERAL SOCIALISTS!!
SELF ^ | 6/26/02 | PERSONAL

Posted on 06/26/2002 2:07:39 PM PDT by Elkiejg

This has to be one of the worst days I've witnessed in my 64 years on this earth.

Thank you BILL CLINTON. Because of you and your corrupt criminal dealings we have seen what appears to be the beginning of the end of our FREE AMERICA. I thought I had seen the worst of your 8 years in office - but today's action by the Ninth Circuit Court claiming the Pledge of Allegiance is UNCONSTITUTIONAL is the stark result of your unethical, radical, socialist actions against this country. After all, YOU appointed a majority of those judges.

You have left us with politicans such as Daschle, Leahy, Kennedy, Clinton et al - who do NOT care about this country. They care only for their political skins and getting and keeping POWER - their DRUG OF CHOICE. They do NOT care about issues vital to this country - war on terrorism, qualified judges, tax breaks for "middle America", etc., etc. They care only about their petty, selfish political games.

You planted a seed of greed and corruption by your actions, we are now seeing the results of that behavior - which you championed - in the fall of major corporations. You led the way - weak and greedy people followed.

Because of your actions and lies while in the WH, we now have GRADE SCHOOL children believing oral sex is o.k. After all, their President did it and said "it's not really sex". You have dumped the morals of this country in the gutter.

Due to your corruption and selling this country to our enemy, you have the blood of all those murdered on 9-11 AND in prior attacks on your hands.

How can you sleep at night?

I pray to GOD - yes GOD - that our country will be saved from the enemy within (liberal socialist America haters) and the enemy without.

Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional, due to the phrase "under God."

Well that means that the U.S. Dollar is also unconstitutional because it has the words ‘in God we trust”, therefore you cannot use U.S. Currency. Since you cannot use the ‘unconstitutional‘ U.S. Currency, there is no way to pay taxes to the Government.

So no more paying taxes because the U.S. Currency is unconstitutional.

Now Libs go figure our how to pay for your programs, because you just gave me an out to paying taxes.

Don’t want to violate the U.S Constitution now do we.................

I've never met an insecure Christian EVER and I'm a boomer and used to say the Pledge the 1954 way. This is a slippery slope when you can arrest teachers for uttering the Pledge of Allegiance. Shouldn't we be trying to arrest kidnappers and terrorists instead? Why does one man and a 7 year old girl have more rights than the entire Western United States' citizens? I agree with the POTUS - RIDICULOUS! Fv, A Secure Christian.

The point is that we should blame ourselves, its our freakin fault because some of us would rather attack each other than vote Republican, we would rather support hopeless saps like Harry Browne than get behind Bush.

Receiving God's blessings requires acknowledging Him in all things, especially for the safety and prosperity of this nation and her people.

I will venture a guess that I took Civics at a time when it still meant something and you did not.

Good behavior, or more specifically the lack thereof rightfully includes making un-Constitutional decisions.

Are you going to point out the reference in the Constitution to impeaching judges or do I need to re-read that document and verify for myself that it is not there?

Regards

Thank you for choosing me for your generic insults. THERE ARE ALWAYS COURT COSTS. The longer a case goes on, the more court costs there are. If he hangs in through the Supremes, don't tell me that this doofus won't have any expenses whatsoever. Every once in awhile I just forget that there are superior beings such as yourself at FR. FV, Mensa Society

Bill would tell us that "he feels our pain!" - actually he'd be trying to feel your rearend if you were a woman! My husband had a tee shirt printed up that summed up clinton. On the front it has "Perjurer, Coward, Appeaser, Traitor, Rapist, Hypocrite, Liar, Adulterer, Draft Dodger" across the the front, and on the back he has "It all depends on what the meaning of 'is' is" The scumbags who are the demorats are proud of this useless waste of space and I'll bet you that dasshole and the rest are secretly proud of the 9th circuit, they just have to look appalled to appease those cognitively challenged people who continue to vote for them.

That is an aweful lot of hysteria over a phrase foolishly added to the pledge in 1954.

Really? ... and "In God we Trust" has been eliminated from our coinage. I'm not particularly religious, but I do believe in a God ... and it was this God thru His grace that allowed this nation to become the great nation it is. Without "God" woven into the fabric of this great country, we will lose our way as a nation quickly.

From Grolliers Encyclopedia

IMPEACHMENT

Impeachment, a proceeding in which accusations are brought by a legislative branch of a government against civil officials (chiefs of state, cabinet members, and judges).

Sorry couldnt find anything less rigorous.

"I would challenge your assertion, since you obviously dont understand how the judiciary works."

I stand in awe. I have never seen such a compelling argument.

Are you a first year law student? I do not know how the "judiciary works". I do know in general what the Constitution says and am capable of looking up the details.

Part of the reason I hang around here is to learn and if I have the patientence to put up with the pathetically low signal to noise ratio ocassionaly I do.

Enlighten me.

There are other references to it on the net, This was a very, very early New York State Supreme Court Decision.

Here are some more.

New Hampshire: The State Constitutions of 1784 and 1792 mandated that senators and representatives should be of the "Protestant religion," and this requirement remained in force until 1877.

Delaware: The State Constitution of 1779 required every officeholder to make the following affirmation: "I ... do profess faith in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ His Only Son, and in the Holy Ghost, one God blessed forevermore; and I do acknowledge the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be given by Divine inspiration."

The Constitution of the Carolinas: "No mar, shall be permitted to be a freeman of Carolina. or to have any estate or habitation within it that doth not acknowledge a God, and that God is publicly and solemnly to be worshipped."

North Carolina: The State Constitution of 1776 declared: "That no person who shall deny the being of God ... or the divine authority either of the Old and New Testaments, or who shall hold religious. principles incompatible with the freedom and safety of the State, shall be capable of holding any office or place of trust or profit in the civil department within this State."

Maryland: The State Constitution of 1776 required that every person appointed to any office of trust must "subscribe a declaration of his belief in the Christian religion." Moreover, as late as 1864 this same Constitution required "a declaration of belief in the Christian religion, or of the existence of God, and in future state of rewards and punishments."

Mississippi: The State Constitution or 1817 stated that "no person who denies the being of God or a future state of rewards and punishments shall hold any office in the civil department of the state."

Massachusetts Bay Colony: Only persons who were church members were entitled to vote.

Chancellor Kent, the chief justice of the Supreme Court of New York, observed in The People v. Ruggles (8 John, 290, 294, 295) that "The people of this State, in common with the people of this country, profess the general doctrines of Christianity, as the rule of their faith and practice . . ."

Shover v. The State (10 English, 263): Here the Arkansas Supreme Court affirmed, "This system of religion (Christianity) is recognized as constituting a part and parcel of the common. . ."
