Hey, I want one of those cushy bird survey jobs. I'll sit on my patio with a mai-tai in hand and count all the egrets that gather there. I'll probably qualify for a nice pension, too.

Like other fauna from their native habitat, they are known to migraste Northward. Be wary, some may be carriers of HPAI.

The regular owl's wings go up-down, up-down, etc., while the Mexican version owl's wings go down-up, down-up, etc.
