Recurring Problem with Self-Search

A problem that I thought I had licked has returned. When I choose "Self Search", I no longer see my latest post, but I see a reply from several days ago by another poster. That post does not show the normal header and footers all other post-links show. Now, I have to do a search on my name, then scroll through the replies to see if any of my posts have been responded to. Any advice on how to get this feature working correctly again? Thanks in advance.

I am probably missing something regarding personal preferences, but I don't see what at this time.

Do you use Netscape as your browser? I'm learning that a lot of freepers who are using netscape are having the same problems (myself included.) I don't know what, if anything to make of that; could just be a coincidence.

"Do you use Netscape as your browser?" Yes I do, and an old version at that. I will PURGE the cache memory, and see if it helps... if it doesn't there is always exlax I guess. Heheheheh, just kidding.

I use Netscape Communicator 4.5 and have not experienced any problems since the changeover.

Whatever you do, stay AWAY from Netscape 6.0 and above. It was redone by the goons at AOL, and they have totally ruined Netscape as a browser. It was the browser of choice at my company when it was 4.7. Now, we aren't allowed to use it, unless it is 4.7. We've had to go to IE.
It was incompatible with almost all our systems, and the security was "poor", and "unreliable".

On a related note - when I post a reply and then reload the Latest Posts page, it tells me I have a reply, even though no one has replied to me (they rarely do). A little help?

I am a Netscape 4.x fan. But you are correct. Netscape 6 is a piece of crap.
