There have been two other fires in the state this week also (I think Pine Ridge area & LaPlant.) Both caused by firecrackers. LaPlant fire burned 15,000 acres.

I just heard on the radio where they said it is only 10% contained now, not the 35% they had thought.

The smoke was REALLY bad in Rapid this morning early, but, by mid-morning a strong wind had blown it out but it's coming back somewhat now.

God I hate to see the Hills burn, but thank God they have been able to save Deadwood and Lead so far.

Prayers for RAIN, the firefighters and people of Deadwood and Lead....
