I'll think of this case when I visit the Guardian newsboard and read all the posts against America's capital punishment laws.

I know it's not the right attitude but sometimes there are things I wish I didn't know about. And this is for sure one of those times.

Note that Mr. Cobb was 17 at the time he was shoveling dirt on a sobbing, choking baby.

The liberals are already slobbering all over him.

That guy is white....

The liberal press/NAACP/ACLU/etc. All try to convince the public that it's only blacks who receive the death penalty. So obviously, that has to be the wrong guy.

My son Joshua, who is sitting in my lap as I type, turned 16 months old yesterday. This case file should be sent to that fool of a federal judge who just today ruled the death penalty unconstitutional.

I'm sure that Princeton's Pete Singer would think he did the world a big favor by killing both of them. Just so long as he didn't harm any animals.

The death penalty is just too good for some folks. This maggot should be tortured.

I see in Cobb's eyes that he is already dead. It makes no sense, except for the attorneys who will profit from endless appeals, to keep the corpse alive. It cheapens the value of life to keep these cadavers alive.

We've got to stop calling it punishment and call it what it really is; rendering a dangerous person harmless. You have to admit that the only way Ted Bundy will ever harm anybody ever again is if you drop him out of a tall building onto a crowded sidewalk, but then you couldn't really blame Ted for that.
