Time to get the farmers out of there. The seal the borders and quarantine the pest-hole. Open again in 25 years as the world largest wildlife reservation, mainly featuring vultures.

Let 'em starve. They deserve it. No one's fault but theirs that they chose to stop food production in the first place.

And no "humanitarian aid" on my nickel, either. At this point the most humane thing to do is let the generation that caused this mess to fall dead to the ground, so that their children might learn from their folly.

Who is the president responsible for putting Robert MugABaby in Zimbabwe?

Maybe if this comes out, he can get back to his carpentry.

You know what? Let them starve, let them die. If the people are so stupid and timid that they don't want revolution but prefer starvation, let them....but always offer weapons and training to any rebel groups. Cut this shiete hole off from the world so that Mugabe's rule is not prolonged.

Remember this oldie but goodie from Stevie Wonder about 20 years ago?

"They want us to join their fighting
But our answer today
Is to let all our worries
Like the breeze through our fingers slip away
Peace has come to Zimbabwe
Third World's right on the one
Now's the time for celebration
'Cause we've only just begun"

A little ironic, isn't it?

Notice how the press has yet to blame whites / westerners / capitalists on this rathole name Zimbabwe. Have no fear though. This 'silent' time simply = getting the talking points coordinated and distributed

It would not be the least bit immoral for the US to carefully discover Mugabe's whereabouts and send in a nice fuel-air "care package" via cruise missile to his address.

Many of the "354,000" are urban people with mere pieces of paper, promising them plots at some future date. Up to 500,000 farm workers and their families have already been displaced, and another two million face eviction.

Why am I reminded of Pol Pot's "year zero" program of agrarian reform?

By the time Mugabe is finished, there will be a land for the taking, the ones he doesn't kill, will die of hunger....... and they have Milosevich on trial for crimes against humanity...
