What you said is so true. Westerfield was guilty before he was even arrested and charged. All was needed was for the VD(s) to point a finger and walla, all eyes were on Westerfield. The poor man never had a chance. He was immediately crucified. No matter what the VD(s) did, done, said, changed, and lied. No matter how outlandish the numberous lies, stories, comments, and actions the VD(s) did. No matter that more realistic leads pointed to the parents than to Westerfield. All eyes stayed focused on Westerfield. How people can be so blinded but then again, explain the eight years of Clinton?

There are a number of things that were initially reported that could easily point to DW, that have later been found to be unsubstantiated or not well proven imo.

Scratches on DW
Bleach in MH
Dogs Alerting

Supposed suspicious meandering trip


After DW was a suspect partially from the above "evidence"
some forensic evidence was found in MH..and on his jacket. two drops of blood. Remember the Dry Cleaners clerk said she didn't see any blood on the jacket or comforter and part of their job is to look for stains...How long did it take for clothes to make it to evidence room and why weren't they sealed at the dry cleaners?

The question in my mind remains, how did the blood get on the jacket and MH floor? 1.)Could it have been planted(if so by whom & when, who had access to her blood and the MH?) or 2)did it get there by normal means such as her being in MH and nosebleed or scrape or 3)was it put there as the result of a horrible crime by DW or someone else.4) Innocent transfer.

Since the beginning I have sensed something was wrong with this case and felt either DW was guilty or well framed...so far my first instinct remains viable in my mind, thus doubt, whether it is reasonable or not remains to be seen...

so far my ranking of the blood evidence is 3,2,1,4 in that order, but may change with future testimony..such as children in MH and bug expert.

I still am in a quandry about all the unidentified evidence, prints,shell casing, hair, fibers, mixed dna etc. which throws a monkey wrench in most theories. Throw in the inconsistant and strange testimony & actions (vacuum, steam cleaner, not checking on kids, alarms, etc)of the parents and my doubt is not rescinded but reinforced.

Feldman will undoubtably end his defense with a very dramatic witness, unlike the lame, rediculous dog handler that the prosecution choose.

Kimmie - I'll bet you could find kiddie porn by signing on to Kazaa, (or its late predecessor, Napster).

I have searched for stuff on "The Simpsons" on Kazaa, and have had all sorts of interesting files come up - including porn versions of The Simpsons, one of which that claims to have Bart "pimping out" Lisa. Lotsa "teen" stuff, too.

You know, I'll go pretty far to look up stuff, but I absolutely refuse to run a search on KaZaa specifically for kiddie porn. But I'm willing to bet, that if I did and worded my search "creatively", I could find some.

We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto - and the Internet never was. I do believe I read recently (maybe here on FReep) that the thing that advanced the Internet so quickly in the early 90s was the trading of porn.

The last witness for prosecution isn't as important..IMHO. You could be right..he may make her take the stand again..but remember, it could backfire. The jury may not appreciate feldman's badgering of the victim..He did speak to her in a meek manner..that was good.

Not just "cartoons". My understanding is that any prosecution must PROVE that the child is under a certain age. Very hard to do.

I worked (briefly) for a photo development lab. I saw several "questionable" rolls of film involving little girls. Nothing outright, but I'm sure they'd fit right in at "Sally Starlet", or whatever the heck those "little girl" sites are called.

Unfortunately, they were so "questionable" that they weren't pulled and reported, which is what was supposed to happen (not my decision to not pull them).

With the advent of digital cameras, pervs can be more bold.

And, if I may be so bold, I don't think the producers/purveyors of this trash that originates in Asia could give a flying fig about who accesses their stuff, or where they dump it.
