The cartoon in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette by Tim Menees is consistent with that paper's extremely liberal and out-of-the-mainstream philosophy. I read the Trib, myself.

There should be a cartoon or picture like the ones below explaining the historic discovery by RexCurry.net that the straight-armed salute of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazis) came from the military salute in the USA, and from the original pledge of allegiance in government schools, as written by a socialist in the USA.
