Black Teens Sent Themselves Racist Threats to Get Out of School

WALL -- In a complicated hoax designed to get themselves excused from school, two high school freshmen sent racist and threatening notes to themselves and to three other black students, said Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor Ken Keller.

The girls, both 16-year-old township residents, were each charged with one count of conspiracy, three counts of bias intimidation and one count of making a false report to police.

Harbison said she is glad authorities solved the crime and hope they plan to punish her daughter "to the fullest extent of the law."

After all, she said, a harsh punishment is what she would have wanted for someone else's child who committed such a crime.

"This crime was done out of ignorance and selfishness," she said.

Thank God for this woman who is a responsible parent.

These kinds of hoaxes keep everyone at odds and the young women responsible should be ashamed using race like they did. There is enough true hatred going on in our world and we don't need these kinds of hateful, selfish false accusations being bantered about.

It's also another reason these kinds of things need to be looked into and investigated before assuming anything. The older I get the more I realize the wisdom in the line about "Things are not always what they seem."

Can you imagine this “spy vs. spy” level of commitment on the part of the township police, all to solve the alleged crime of schoolkids calling each other racist names?

New to the school district from Asbury Park, Harbison said her daughter told her, as early as September, that she did not feel comfortable in a school with so few minorities.

Although this might look like a innocent teen prank to some. Particularly from their side. This is an indication of how they really think and shows they absolutely have learned to manipulate the system.

As long as this behavior is taught by those closest to them (black leaders, parents and liberal sympathizers) they will never get over the fact they are not slaves, they never were and most others do not see them as a less than equal. These children must put this type of brain washing behind them.

The best part is that when black kids do this, it is only a schoolgirl prank. Should white kids do the same thing, its a hate crime.

One humurous aspect of that Tawana Brawley incident was that the police knew immediately that it was a hoax. When she scrawled those racial epithets on herself, she spelled the word "n!gger" wrong.

The police knew that a white supremacist would know how to spell this word even if he didn't know how to spell his own name.

I am shocked!

A parent in modern America actually had the decency to admit her kids were at fault and not claim that they suffered from 'childhood anguish, perpetual day dreaming, hypnotic subliminal messages or other hogwash. And did not even try to petition for their innocence with statements like 'he/she is a nice kid because he/she helps me with my laundry and calls grandma once a week!'

Wow, a parent willing to take responsibility and hold her child accountable! What is the world coming to? Next we will be hearing of parents who have dinner with their kids!

If there isn't any racism, some people will invent it. Here in Iowa, we had a dental student pull a similar stunt at the University of Iowa. There were candlelight vigil's and all sorts of things. This moron claimed to have received racist e-mails -- and the computer science dept. is top notch, so they immediately found out who sent them. She did. Couldn't hack the program, so she sent bomb threats and so on.

When I first heard about it, my spidey sense tingled - I knew it was a hoax.

The next brainiac claimed racist spray paint on his car. An alert auto body paint shop pointed out that this same fellow (a "minister") had been asking for quotes on getting his mercedes repainted. He soon folded under questioning.
