I'm placing this in the Breaking News category due to the terrorism this group advocated yesterday in Ashland, Oregon before starting their self professed Terrorism Tour.

Today there are close to 20 fires burning in Oregon. Are any of these fires due to the promises of these Enviral Eco Terrorists or just due to their forest miss management agendas.

More links will posted to this thread re what's happening today and what these groups have threatened America with.

Good Post Dave. Greetings from an ex-pat of the Peoples Republic of Oregon and an avid fly fisherman.
I took a quick tour around their site yesterday and these trustfarians are dangerous. I grew up in the good Oregon and It makes me sick to see what has become of my home.

If the fires are due to eco-terrorism, the perps should face hard time. But, as the FBI correctly (stopped clock is right twice a day effect) points out, having hairy armpits and obnoxious opinions doesn't rate a visit from an FBI agent.

In the article, the "expert" was exercised about advocacy, not action.

When I first started reading the description of their "mission", I thought "sounds like ELF"!

Crime follow up. That's all they have. Several courts have ruled that it's not an LEOs job to protect people from crime. Rather, to enforce the law. In that case, should any  eco-terrorists on their tour of destruction break the law it is LEOs that failed to enforce the law. The FBI has been informed of the high probability of crimes to come from a specific group with a known location. The FBI needs to enforce the law. If the eco-terrorists do commit crimes it will be taken into account the amount of negligence and or incompetence by the FBI.

I mean, if the FBI can't competently thwart known eco-terrorists from committing crimes with a map of their tour schedule in hand it is blatantly obvious that the FBI would be useless in thwarting unknown and difficult-to-locate Islamic terrorist.

The FBI had no problem with preemptive surveillance when they broke the mob....thus paving the way for the Columbians to come in, unfettered by the mob that was broken by the FBI.

Eco-terrorists present as clear and present a danger to this country as al Qaeda or ANY of the zillions of other Islamifascist terrorist groups in this country. If the FBI can do sweeps of jewelery kiosks run by illegals in US malls as apparent money laundering centers for Islamic terrorists, they can sure as heck use the same tactic on the worst of the enviro terrorists.

I believe the FBI's worried because the enviro terrorists are savvy with all the successful legal sallies used by the left for so many years. Why make arrests when you know the enemy has the support of the rich and influential, and you probably won't win the case?
