This week on www.StopDemocrats.com **The News** Main Story:

*Get to know them: The GOP's 3 Amigos: President Bush, a "nickname-happy president," has reportedly christened Minnesota Senate candidate Norm Coleman (R), Missouri Senate candidate Jim Talent (R) and South Dakota Senate nominee John Thune (R) the "Three Amigos" who will help the GOP re-take the Senate this year.

In Other News:

*Though Democrats blame the recent wave of corporate scandals on Bush SEC chief Harvey Pitt, in reality it was the Clinton SEC that turned a blind eye to the spreading corporate corruption of the late 1990s.

*Hillary Throws a Fit: Sens. Russ Feingold and Hillary Clinton got into in a heated argument over the impact of Feingold's campaign finance reform legislation on Senate Democrats.

*Official tailor to the White House Georges de Paris, who has made suits for U.S. presidents going back to Lyndon Johnson, says that the nicest presidents he served over the years were Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. His least favorite - Bill Clinton.

*With the Dow taking a dive and small investors taking a bath, Democrats are hot to tap corporate greed as a campaign issue, to rail against Republican fat cats while portraying themselves as guardians of the little guy. But this is not your grandfather's Democratic Party anymore.

*Rush Limbaugh: The Democrats are so anxious to tie Bush to Corporate scandals that they fail to recognize how dirty their own guys are. They're so anxious to paint the GOP as a bunch of rich guys, that they forget that their richest U.S. Senator could buy and sell the richest GOP senator more than 13 times.

Articles and Commentary:

*Do Democrats want to play the integrity game?: Questions are being raised by Democrats and the big media (but I repeat myself) about Dick Cheney's large profit from the sale of Halliburton stock options in August, 2000. Cheney divested himself of Halliburton shares as he left the energy company to run for vice president. The fact that editorials in The New York Times and other papers called on Cheney to sell his stock to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest apparently has been forgotten. The suggestion now is that Cheney did something wrong. Does anyone wish to compare this vice president's integrity with his predecessor, Mr. "no controlling legal authority"?.

*Pataki Unbeatable, Dem Polls Say

NY Post: Top-Secret polling has convinced key Democrats that Gov. Pataki can't be beaten in the November election by either Carl McCall or Andrew Cuomo, The Post has learned.

The polls, now circulating at the highest levels of state and national Democratic Party politics, found Pataki leading both potential Democratic opponents by more than 30 percentage points in bellwether suburban counties.

Pataki walks on water in many districts in New York," said one of the state's best-known Democratic political operatives, who has first-hand knowledge of the polling. "It's inexplicable but true; people just like this guy, it's amazing.

"Pataki's strength in key suburban areas make him all but unbeatable. Frankly, his numbers are off the charts".
