How many of the fires in Utah are the result of the no roads, no thinning of brush and as in this link of yours no harvesting of dead trees?

The fires are not the result of needed roads and clearing programs but the scale of these fires sure is.

Dave, i wish i knew. how much dead undergrowth has stayed where it fell due to lawsuits?

how many roads have been closed, and firebreaks abandoned?

how many old forest stands have been allowed to turn into powder kegs due to the meddling
of these terrorist bastards?

it's nonstop, and we cash poor western states are losing the world enviral war, being driven by
the UN's socialist minions' screw America agenda.

Quite a few are roadless forests. We saw some big fires recently in mid-Utah areas that are inacessible except by copter. The forests were burning fast and the locals told us that firefighters were unable to reach the fires.

The fire that impressed us most was the big one that burned huge tracts of forest around the North Rim of the Grand Canyon last year. The forests there were full of dead trees, brush and dead grasses--it was a fire bomb waiting to go off. There are several roads in the area, some with the blackened images of burning tree trunks left in the asfalt. The Forest service claimed the fire was a "natural event" used by nature to "cleanse the forest." It was so disgusting, it ruined our trip to the Rim.
