Forgive me for lack of recall (I was busy with 3 preschoolers during the early nineties and barely had time for a shower let alone the newspaper) but did Bush (the elder) criticize Clinton like this? I don't remember that he did.

To ensure that the United States remain united, it has always been an unwritten rule in American politics that no President criticise his successor. The only politicians to violate this rule, as far as I'm aware, have been Harry Truman, Jimmy Carter and now Bill Clinton.

The modern Democratic party is populated by a collection of classless animals.

Another unwritten rule has been (since George Washington who started the tradition) that no president serve more than 2 terms. It was only a tradition until FDR disregarded it and the ?? amendment was passed to legally limit it to 2 (until FDR there was no need to do so). Until the last days of the clinton presidency where they were talking up the idea of a third term. The parallels with the two traditions are pretty striking, I think. The good guys follow them and the scum bags could care less.

"We Democrats -- we have to be the ones trying to put things together"

As usual, the dems are looking out for themselves, and not the country. They don't want to work together as Americans, they want to be NOTICED as the ones who put things back together. How nice for them. How arrogant of them!!

WE NEED TO VOTE THESE ARROGANT, PATHETIC PEOPLE OUT OF OFFICE!!!

"Clinton said that his administration warned in 1998 and 2000 that corrupt corporate accounting practices would lead America into trouble..."

Wasn't Clinton's "administration" (meaning the two klintoons) the ones that had that plane with Ron Brown on it, and it was led into a mountainside - er, I mean crashed - and there were 32 heads of large American corporations that died in one fell swoop (who took their positions)? Oops, tin foil hat time for me. I should only be concerned that a corrupt klintoon comrade died... (One less evil ba$tard as far as I'm concerned!)

Was Bradbury also helpful in the 2000 election when registered Democrats in Oregon (but no Republicans) were sent extra ballots??????

That would be something Clinton would admire, now, wouldn't it? the

"Has that clinton "legacy" made you feel safer yet?"

Lest Americans ever forget why the clintons, and all their enablers need to be hectored, hounded, and harried into silence, until "clintonese is only spoken in Hell," look here:

In Bill Clinton's twisted mind, he knows exactly what he is doing. He is continuing to remind a large part of the electorate how much they despise him. He can only build his legacy if his democrats are out of power. If they were ever able to gain control of the White House and Congress, the bent one would have nothing to beat his chest over. Just as he does not want Hillary to get any more power than she now has, he really doesn't want his party in charge either.

Shrinks should be having a field day analyzing this reprobate but most of them are probably too busy paying for those $150 to $1000 plate dinners.

In sum, it all may not be a bad thing.
