On July 22, 2002, both the OIC and Foster's former wife and one of his sister's filed petitions for rehearing in the Ninth Circuit to stop release of 4 of the 10 Fort Marcy Park Polaroid body photos. Under the court rules, I do not get to respond unless the court asks for a response. In their petitions they pretend that I presented absolutly no evidence establishing that the Fiske and Starr reports on the death were untrustworthy. Of course, before the district court and the Ninth Circuit, they had a chance to show how I was wrong about that and they completely failed to do so. All they can do is quote from Judge Pregerson's dissent in the July 2000 appellate decision that was riddled with major errors. The petitions are in the Foster section of my web site.

I read their papers and here's my favorite line:
"My Favish, a lawyer and conspiracy theorist..."
LOL!

,
both the OIC and Foster's former wife There is no action more cowardly than for a man with dependent children to commit suicide. I wonder why Foster's former wife is so determined to thwart any attempt to restore dignity to Foster's name. I don't know which is more troubling, the murder of Vince Foster or his family betraying his name and his honor.

God Bless You!
As an old-hand Russian linguist, I can say unequivocally that the behavior of the government in this case is right out of the Nomenklatura playbook of the CPSU. The behavior of the Foster family is right out of the playbook of the intimidated victims. What have we come to?
I would pay a lot of money to have a forthcoming conversation with Sheila Anthony, inter alii. When pigs fly.
Keep on, AJF, and I'll keep on listening for the 'oinking' overhead.
Blessings on Freepers Everywhere.

" I wonder why Foster's former wife is so determined to thwart any attempt to restore dignity to Foster's name." Remember that Vince Foster was the Clinton's personal lawyer and close friend for many many years. I'm sure their families were very close.
I also understand that people can find themselves so morally and spiritually bankrupt, that they eventually find it quite literally impossible to descern right from wrong ... truth, on even the most basic level in life.
I see it as a total loss of any conscience, or contact with G_d.

Hey, don't blame the family - they just don't want to Clintons to have their cat killed.

I'd have to go back and pull old threads from CD, but as I recall Vince's son was killed before meeting with the FBI after he discovered some boxes in the attic.
Also posted here was a comment by someone from AK who mentioned that the grave of VF was guarded 24/7. This was during the Klintoon administration, anything new regarding this AK?

I don't know which is more troubling, the murder of Vince Foster or his family betraying his name and his honor.Don't forget: Lisa Foster was remarried (a year or 2 after VF died) to a judge in Arkansas and shortly after that, the judge's son, in his 20s I believe, decided he was going to do some sort of "looking into" some of the issues surrounding Foster's death. He soon died in a car crash.
I think everyone associated with the 'toons has been intimidated, including the Foster family.

I don't think that betrayal of honor enters into it. The man was betraying his wife and family, carrying on an affair with Hillary Clinton. If the woman knows what happened to Vince, she surely is not going to let it be known publicly for fear the same fate would befall her. Besides, she has probably received a handsome sum for her continued silence.

I've often wondered how Foster shot himself in the head but yet,NO RESIDUE ON THE HANDS!

I wonder how Forster came by a 38 with different numbers on frame and chamber....and why those numbers were put into the FBI search list some months before his death and by whom.....
And while we are on the subject...where did the $250K come from that turned up in widow Forster's bank account...did she file a form with the IRS (as its way over $10K limit)....
Enquiring minds seek the answers....

I wonder why Foster's former wife is so determined to thwart any attempt to restore dignity to Foster's name.Could it be that she is afraid of the same fate as befell Vince from the powers that eliminated Vince if she doesn't throw up roadblocks? Obviously they can't do so without revealing themselves. They fight through surrogates.

There is no action more cowardly than for a man with dependent children to commit suicide.I don't want to start an argument or anything here, but I need to point out that in many cases, a person committing suicide is seriously mentally ill, be it by clinical depression, schizophrenia, total nervous breakdown, what have you. Honor and dignity never even enters into the equation for these people.
By posting this, I of course do not mean to imply I believe his death was a suicide; it was obviously an Arkancide. I just wanted to make sure everyone understands not all, or even most, suicides are just someone looking for the easy way out.
