Has anyone here ever tried to read the Koran?
Its impossible to make heads or tails out of this book. There are contradictions galore - while starting every chapter with praise to a kind and merciful Allah, the book asks Moslems to not make friends with Jews or Christians, and to strike infidels.
I've seen Moslems convert to Christianity. Granted, most were Persian Moslems, but I've seen a Palestinian Moslem marry a Christian, abandon practicing Islam, and raise Christian children.
Perhaps I'll but Moslem Trivial Pursuit as a Christmas gift for his household!

It's a messed up book, impossible to comprehend without a commentary side-by-side. What do you expect from something written (i.e. narrated) by an illiterate caravan robber and child molester.
