Pat's nuts, we could easily slip into a 1930's scenario ( Smoot-Hawley didn't work then and protectionism is NOT going to work now! ) and what Pat knows / understands about economics, couldn't fill a thimble. No less a leading light, of economics and political knowledge, than Thomas Sowell, did an entire column, last week, about this. Frankly, when push comes to shove, I'll talk Thomas Sowell's expertise, over Pat's, any day and twice on Sundays !
