Mexican Consulate representative Bernardo Mendez will be in Oakland Saturday to issue identification cards to Mexican residents.
The cards, known as "matricular consular" cards, are recognized as valid identification by Oakland city departments, including police, under an ordinance written by City Council President Ignacio De La Fuente.

Mexican citizens should bring proof of address (such as a utility bill), $29 in cash, a birth certificate and one of the following: Mexican passport, military card, voter registration card or graduation diploma. Married women must provide a marriage certificate and children should be accompanied by a guardian. Utility bill? military card? graduation diploma? from Mexico or Oakland? Either way, how are these supposed to prove they're in the country legally?
Voter registration card? from where? Are Mexicans allowed to vote in the U.S.? Good grief already!

Oh ---I guess this must all be based on Mexican culture, not American culture. Women are considered second class in Mexico. Funny how our feminists must keep their mouths shut when it comes to what immigration will do to this country.

From Tennessee, to Georgia, to Chicago, to Seattle, this is happening nationwide.....
While our so-called leaders in DC stand treasonously silent.....

Thanks for the link. I haven't seen this before.
A. Not to worry. Use a forged birth certificate which you can obtain for $25.00 on Alvarado Blvd in the Mac Arthur Park section of L.A.
LOL!! This is true now but that area was real nice when I first moved to LA in the late 60's. I put down many a cool one with members of LAPD's Rampart division at DeAnza's bar at 7th and Alvarado.

Mexico has no right to identify "our illegals".......
U.S Citizens MUST be identified legally, by some form of
the U.S. government.
How does a "graduation certificate" identify a person
Legally????
This is just some more RIGHTS for illegals.....

The logical next step will be that the 500,000 Chinese Communist "students" who never went back--and those who continue to arrive--will get similar ID. They can then, in the name of Diversity and with the threat of Racist Protests:
--Demand more jobs in key government agencies;
--Demand higher jobs in key government agencies;
--Demand equal opportunity for access to all national secrets.

Undocumented immigrants have difficulty with tasks from opening bank accounts to proving their identity to police without a valid ID, De La Fuente said. Undocumented is the nice way of saying ILLEGAL.
Why are Americans letting this happen?
What were all the past wars all about if were just going to let ANYBODY come to our country at any time they want to and LIVE off of us?
Illegal immigration will DESTROY America if it is not stopped soon.

Hey I just saw on tonight's news that two health providers in California, Health Net and Blue Shield are offering "discounted " health care at medical facilities across the border for some of their "hispanic" U.S. (supposedly) members.
This is another move to dissolve the borders.

I just ran for congress in the Seventh Congressional District of Tennessee. I quit my job and campaigned for four months solid. My platform was "Stop Illegal Immigration." It was printed on all my literature and on all of my road signs, large and small. I talked to thousands of people, six days a week, from daylight to beyond dark. People seemed to like me as I met a lot of good people with whom I got along famously.
I distributed 54,000 campaign cards in all fifteen TN counties in this very conservative Republican district. I am confident I talked to more people than all six of my opponents combined. I gave passionate speeches at every candidate forum and was often told my speeches were the best. None of my opponents wanted to touch illegal immigration.
Last Thursday, August 1st, I received 625 votes total in the primary election. The winner had more than 35,000 votes.
I am very proud to have stood tall for American sovereignty but you can see it is too late to solve this problem in politics. I believe this problem will end up in the streets and it will be ugly.

I'm sorry that you lost but I have a number of questions. What type of reception did you receive when you spoke of the problem - are people concerned or are they easily cowed by the politically correct? Were your opponents financed by those who benefit from illegal immigration? Was there a media blackout on the issues that you raised?

The reception was almost universally positive. I was frankly surprised at how well received my message was. The problem was five of the six other candidates spent over a million dollars on TV ads in the last few weeks and it turned into just another beauty contest. I ran as a Republican but the party treated me throughout like a turd in the punch bowl. The major newspapers in Nashville and Memphis ignored me as did the TV stations until the last week. Ironically, on election day, the ABC affiliate sent a reporter and camera out to do a story about the "truck driver who quit his job to run for congress." The story was aired a couple of hours before the polls closed and I had voters show up because of it.
Many voters said they'd vote for me but did not. Some of that was probably a last-minute switch to another candidate. Some were Democrats who could not cross vote. (Closed primary). Some apparently just didn't show up (ie. "my vote doesn't count").
