The sense of humor level here is pretty low...

For me, it's the only way to stay sane and not be overcome by urges to scream and rant (like some FReepers do).

10-4 on needing some humor to lighten up these "discussions."

Actually a protege of Kay James, the WH Personnel Director, is running-- a black woman conservative-- is running. She has no chance, though. Still I would like to see GWB spotlight her after the primary regardless of what happens on the Democrap side.

McKinney has been endorsed by the GA AFL-CIO.

"Union members in the 4th Congressional District are encouraged to support McKinney in her re-election in any and every way," Georgia AFL-CIO President Richard Ray said recently. AJC|8|4|02

Oh, don't tell me you wouldn't enjoy the bitter, bile-filled, race-mongering wackjob speech this witch will give on primary election night. The networks will all be out in force, the "progressives" will gnash and wail, Jesse and Al will be in a frenzied lather and no Democrat of any standing will be available for comment.

Actually, I'd be willing to give her the primary if only the Reps could run a national congressional campaign with a single voice against the party of Condit, McKinney, Trafficant, Torricelli and Clinton! Unfortunately, they're just too wussified to play the Dem game.

Have to Vote Demo in the primary.... It would be im possible at this time to get a republican in and it wouldbe a vote that Majette would not get to get McKinney out.....

I can get down and "funny" with the rest of them, but having been gerrymandered into McNinney's district, I find very little "funny" about this situation. Especially since I am sacrificing my conservative vote to vote "Dim." Nothing "funny" about that at all.

FP: I think you hit the nail on the head as to "Isle of insanity"'s identity with the simple question, "Larry?" Frankly I'm sick and tired of people who aren't living this nightmare telling us to lighten up.

"McKinney has been endorsed by the GA AFL-CIO."

Just another example of the mindless sheeple voting the party not the person. Shenanigans such as that are rife in Taxachusetts. Too bad the south hasn't learned from their mistakes.

A two point lead won't be enough to oust McKinney. McKinney (and her dad) have been Dem insiders for decades. The Dem machine will be in full swing to get her reelected.

Remember last election. McKinney was caught campaigning INSIDE a polling place. There will be plenty of McKinney supporters wandering around the polling places "helping" people.

Dem groups (unions, NAACP, etc...) will be out in force getting McKinney voters to the polls.

If Republican voters don't cross over in mass, McKinney will win the primary (and be reelected.) They have a good reason to. McKinney has always bluntly said that she only represents the people (and groups) in her district that voted for her. If you were white or a business, unless you donated money to her, you were out of luck as far as getting help from McKinney. It has gotten so bad that other congressmen in GA have created "adopt a congressman" programs for people in McKinney's district so they will have at least some access to a member of congress.

I, for one, am glad to hear this. It appalls me that anybody could stay in public office in this country with such clearly anti-American leanings as she has.

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Bump for all GOP voters to crossover to defeat McKinney.

This is my district, I'll be voting against McKinney for sure.

60/38 those are high negatives.

Could it be that the majority of Afro-Americans do not support the Wahhabbi lobby?
