It's been a particularly zany week in politics. Bill Moyers got arrested for drunk driving, Bill Clinton volunteered for the army (Israel's), Joe Lieberman accused his former running mate Al Gore of being a lefty, Mr. Gore proudly accepted that position, and the Pew Charitable Trust Research Center wasted good money asking the public whether they believed anything Mr. Clinton said. All in all, a pretty good week for the Republicans

the Democratic Party's titular head and leading contender for the Democratic Party's nomination has positioned himself irrevocably in the left wing

Excuse me Tony, the titular head of the Democratic Party is this heap of filth:

You may be looking for a term such as "de facto head" or "presumed head" or "effective head", but at present Gore's only title is Former VP.

But, other than his environmental position,he was essentially in the middle of the road supporting the Persian Gulf War,

Al Gore only supported the Persian Gulf war for a price.

Former Sen. Alan Simpson, Wyoming Republican, recalls Mr. Gore approaching then-Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole to request extra time for a Senate speech Mr. Gore intended to make in favor of using U.S. troops in the 1991 Gulf War. Mr. Gore reportedly told Mr. Dole he would vote against a Senate resolution endorsing U.S. military action in Kuwait unless he got more time to speak.

For Gore, some questions of ethics

Thank you for the details of Al Gore's disgusting behavior. It shows the true Al Gore. No wonder he made a perfect running mate for Clinton.

Meanwhile, Bill — was he really president of the United States? — Clinton continues his sorry decline from shrewd political opportunist to hapless buffoon.

Delicious.

Re #2

Let the disease run its course. Dress BJ Clinton in IDF uniform and send him on a solo patrol in a Hamas-infested area. He will be either killed or kidnapped. If kidnapped, dare Hamas to kill him. And they will. Problem solved for US at the cost of IDF infantry gears. Israel will do US a great favor. And to itself. After all, Clinton is responsible to creating the current Palestine Jihad by installing Barak using his henchmen Carville, and consequently undermining Israeli position.
