It's not so bad being a guinea pig. I'm one. And I have a good two dozen less symptoms for it. One medical firm was able to predict ADHD from inflammatory bowel symptoms and those of fibromyalgia. We have confirmed Clostridium in fibromyalgia. One would need to test for Clostridium antibodies first and then move to PCR-DNA confirmation if such a test is available. We have bowel and serum antibody tests but have not been able to locate PCR-DNA amplification test, which is what we really need.

Clostridium appears to cause a cascade of other infections due to the sugar absorption problems which interfere with inter and intracellular communication. Common secondary infections are staph, candidas, microplasm and chronic salmonella. This in turn leads to complex autoimmune disorders. If we can suppress the pathogen the disorders disappear.

And forget pulling a white blood count or temperature reading because all these infections are stealth and totally bypass the immune system. To any doctor you look totally normal.

A real "infection" is pretty easy to find and diagnose. There are plenty of physiological tests that can be performed to detect infection. I was under the impression that ADD/ADHD wasn't an "infection" at all, but was considered a "chemical imbalance" of some sort, thus the need to adjust brain chemicals with medication. A new one on me, to be sure.
Now, I'd go in to have an infection cleared up, but neither I nor my children will be guinea pigs for head shrinks.
